At school, Rebecca was sitting on a bench with her friends as Andy was walking by. He overheard Rebecca’s friends talk about what to wear for prom night. All her friends each named the color of their dresses and Rebecca said she was going to wear a gold colored dress.
They asked who her date was for the night, but she said no one had asked her yet. Suddenly, a tall guy with black hair, wearing a black leather jacket and tattered jeans came up to the girls and faced Rebecca.
He asked straight up if Rebecca would want to go with him to prom. Rebecca was unimpressed because it was bad-boy Jess, he has countless of bad records in the principal’s office and his breath always smelled like cigarette.
She turned him down by saying she was thankful for the offer but she just couldn’t accept. Jess looked surprised but he carried on; he walked away and asked out the next pretty girl he saw. Rebecca shook her head smiling at what just happened.
