Natalie POV

"Alright everyone! We're hiking today but there's a catch. It's a scavenger hunt. Hints will be throughout the hiking trip. Now, it is cold so everyone must wear a jacket. It will get dark in 5 hours so everyone must carry a flashlight. First person wins the hunt will have a free meal." Out instructor said

"Now hunt!"

Can't believe I'm doing this

My ankle still hurts

I got my car and begin to read it. I walked through the woods in hope I found the next clue.

3 hours past and I only have two more cards left to find, but I noticed no one was here around me. Am I lost? I can tell it was getting dark. I start to get worried so I turn on my flashlight. I began to walk a few more steps but my ankle was still killing me. I began to keep walking trying to find a way back.

It was cold and it was getting darker. My lips are probably blue by now. My hands are cold as ice. My ankle is swollen.

I fell onto the floor and decided just to sit here. I can't do it no more.

I feel like I'm going to die....

Lauren POV

I got finished with the scavenger hunt quickly. It took me like an hour. I was going back to my cabin and realized I was the only one here. I finished that fast? It was easy to be honest.

I grabbed some food and ate it while I wait for people.

Time has passed and I was sitting in the living room watching T.V.

I've seen people coming in has time went by, but I was only waiting for one person

It was getting dark and I was getting worried

Everyone was here in the living room just hanging around talking

"Hey, where's Natalie?" Nina said "I don't know, who cares though?" Brad laughed and I clenched my jaw. "It's getting dark, we should do something" Nina said and I nodded

Then we heard a knocked on a door and I got excited to see if it's Natalie, but I got sad when I just saw an instructor and not Natalie

"Sorry to bother kids, but is Natalie here?" The instructor said and everyone shook their heads "Why? What happened?" Nina said worrying "It seems she's not back yet. She didn't sign her name for the finish line yet" They said and I sat in my seat thinking

"Are you saying....she's still in the woods?" Nina said and the instructor nodded slowly

"It's cold and dark, how is she going to survive?" Nina began to panic "We brought a search team to find her, hopefully we can find her" The instructor said

"Until then, I'll update you guys if anything happens" The instructor then left. "What a loser she can't even go on her own" I heard Brad

"Shut up fag" Nina said

I can't sit here and do nothing

I stood up and grabbed my jacket

"Where you going?" I heard Brad "I'm going after Natalie" I said as I put my jacket on "What? Why? There's a search team" he said and I rolled my eyes "I can't sit here and do nothing. She's out there and I'm coming after her" I said

"I'll go with you!" Nina said "No, I can't let someone be in a dangerous situation because of me. Stay here just in case Natalie comes. If she does call me" I said to Nina and she nodded

"Then I'll go" Demi said "I'll call you if I need help" I said and Demi nodded

I left the cabin and it was getting close to dark

I have to make this quick

I went to the woods and yelled out Natalie

I walked around and searched everywhere

I was about to give up but I saw a familiar hair color. I walked towards there and I saw Natalie shaking.

"Natalie!" I yelled and ran over to her

"L-L-Lauren" She whispered

"Don't talk, I'll get you out" I said and helped her get up "It's hurts" She said pointing to her ankle. I kneel down and took a look at it and it looks bad

I look back up to her and saw she was leaning in

I froze and she connected our lips together

My eyes widened and I was shock. My heart was beating so fast and why am I enjoying this moment? My heart is fluttering and so I kiss her back

Her lips was kinda chapped since it was cold, but it felt soft and smooth at the same time

And then I didn't feel her lips moving

I pulled away and she looks like she's gonna ass out. "Lauren" she whispered and then she fainted on my shoulder "Natalie?" I shook her arm

She's not responding

I carried her bridal style and ran back to the camp site

"I found her!" I yelled and the instructors took me to the nurses office

"Is she okay?" I said "We don't know yet, but for now you need to leave" The nurse said and I nodded. I walked outside and I sigh

"Thank you for your work" The instructors said and I nodded back at them

I walked back to the cabin and I touched my lips

She kissed me.....
