22) "I don't know what to do"

Lauren POV

I drove back home and I put my keys away. It was kinda quiet and lonely here in my house. I walk to my fireplace and sat down looking at the flames. I stare at the fire and thought about Natalie

"Hi Lauren!"

"Pervert!!"

"Let's take a picture!"

I smiled softly

"Why do I feel like this?" I sigh and put my hands on my face. I stood up and took a shower to help me get off her from my head. I went to the shower and the warm water instantly hit me. I close my eyes and I see Natalie face. I immediately opened my eyes and shook my head

I got out of the shower and changed into some comfortable clothes. I lay on my bed and grabbed my phone. I opened it and I immediately saw Natalie as my wallpaper. My heart beats faster and I smiled

I've been feeling like this since I've first saw her

I don't know what it is

I turn off my phone and eventually fell asleep

I was at school now and I was at study hall with my friend Dinah. I've been quiet thinking about Natalie.

"What's in the head of yours?" Dinah said interrupting my thought "Huh? Oh nothing" I chuckled getting back to work. I then saw Natalie walking into study hall and I couldn't keep my eyes off from her. She didn't saw me so she sat in the back far away from me

"It's about her, isn't it?" Dinah said and I look at her weirdly "Come on Lauren! It's so obvious" She said

"I have been thinking about her since the first time I saw her" I sigh

"Do you like her? In a romantic relationship way" She whispered and I thought about that "I've never really thought of that" I responded "I think I was too focused on her than focusing on my feelings" I added

"I hope you know what you're doing" Dinah whispered "I don't. I don't know what I'm doing" I whispered

"I don't know what I'm feeling, I'm not use of this feeling. But I can't do anything about it." I chuckled "There's only one explanation, you like her more than a friend" Dinah said and I look back at Natalie and I saw her doing her homework

"I think so too" I whispered

"You ready to perform?!" Dinah said to me and I nodded. I was going to sing because we're having this pre-celebration for tomorrow's football game and I was the only one that is singing

I went up to the stage and I saw Natalie

She's wearing a cute dress that looks so good on her

Focus-

The band started to play and I immediately danced and sang. The whole performance I was looking at Natalie to keep an eye on her. Everyone was cheering and dancing and I saw Natalie smiling.

I finished singing and I was breathless. I saw Natalie walking away somewhere so I panicked

"Thank you everyone!" I smiled and went off the stage. I ran out but I bumped into Brad. "Can we talk?" He said softly "No, leave me alone asshole" I push him away and I ran after Natalie. I saw her walking so I stop running and walk right behind her

She stopped at the stairs and sat down on one of the steps

"You were staring at me during the performance and now you're following me now?" She smirked and I chuckled

I sat down next to her and she put her head in my shoulder

I heard her sigh

"Lauren" she whispered

"Yeah?"

"I don't want to worry about grown up things" She whispered "What's grown up things?" I asked "You know, like....worries about life basically. You'll get stressed and I don't like that feeling. Sometimes you'll feel lonely and sad when you grow up. I don't want that" she whispered

"Well...when you're with me, you don't have to worry about those"
