After they were done eating Heaven paid for their meal, it was the least she could do since they showed her around. "Thanks guys but I have to go now, apparently my school is across the way" she said.

They waved her off, she walked outside and the California sun was still beaming down. "I don't think I'll ever get use to this" she muttered.

"I don't think anyone ever does" a voice came from out of nowhere.

She looked over to see the same guy that was inside the diner, she had thought he left but he didn't. She didn't know what to say to him so she just nodded her head. She turned around and let out a sigh, she was going to start walking towards a bus stop but she heard him speak again.

"I can give you a ride" he offered. He flicked his blunt to the ground and stepped on it. He glanced over to see Jamal and the others looking out the window but they immediately turned away scared. He couldn't help but chuckle shaking his head. "Cesar told me about you going to college, across the city" he spoke again.

She rolled her eyes, Cesar really doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut. She hadn't even been in this town for a few hours. She turned around looking at him, he was leaning against the car. He wore tan shorts and black tank top. Somehow she was in some sort of daze, that she couldn't break. That was until she heard a horn in a distance, she blinked a few times.

"Uh-yeah" she nodded her head. She made her way towards him, she could tell eyes were on her. When she glanced over Jamal and the others were frowning. She immediately looked away, when she approached the car. She looked up at the male, his face was more visible. She noticed the cross tattoo on his neck, everything in her body was telling her not to go but she didn't listen.

"Get in" Oscar said. He got off the car then go inside the driver's side. He started the car up, music played on the stereo.

She climbed inside the car, she placed her seatbelt on which caused him to laugh. "Are you laughing at me?" she looked at him. "Safety first" she said.

"You're living in California, there's no such thing as safety" Oscar glanced over at her. "I'm Oscar but most people know me as Spooky" he said. He turned his eyes back towards the road.

"Why do they call you Spooky?" she asked. "Wait, I take that back. I don't want to know the answer" she adds.

He couldn't help but chuckle at her comment. "Alright, I won't answer" he said. "So tell Cielo what you studying?" Oscar asked.

"To be a nurse" she looked over at him. "I really would love to work in a children's hospital" she replied.

"That's good work" he didn't take his eyes off the road. "I hope you succeed" Oscar said. "What school are you attending?" he asked.

"Thanks" Heaven replied. She looked out the window and let out a sigh. "It's called Valley University" she replied.

Oscar nodded his head "that's a big school, lot of rich kids go there" he said. "So I heard" Oscar added.

"Noted, I just hope I don't get lost" she replied.

He nodded his head, they finally arrived at the university. He pulled in the front of the place. "Do you need me to wait?" he asked.

Heaven looked over at him shaking her head. "No, I should be fine" she replied. "Orientation take hours and I wouldn't want to put you out" Heaven smiled. "Thank you though" she said before getting out the car.

He watched as she walked inside, he chuckled shaking his head. He soon drove away once she was inside.

Sorry it's short, I promise the next one will be longer.
