She stood on the porch, drenched in rainwater as she rapped on the wooden door five times. The doorbell was broken.

"Well hello North! What a surprise to have you here." Mrs. Meeker greeted her a few moments later.

She stumbled for a reply. "U-Uh yes. I was just... wondering if Oliver is home?"

The woman frowned. "Oliver? Well he's in the basement, playing his damned gaming system or whatever. Would you like to come in as I call him up?''

She shook her head vigorously, "No thank you, ma'am. It'll just be quick talk."

"North? My mom said you were here but I thought she was joking."

She hesitated, "Like some sick joke or something?"

He raised an eyebrow. "Uh yeah, I guess you could put it that way. So what does bring you here?"

She bit her lip. "Actually nothing. Most of my questions are answered for now. Sorry for bothering you—I-I'll see you... Maybe I'll see you around again."

"Why maybe?"

She shrugged as she made her way down the steps. "I'm not sure yet about something."
