~Amara's P.O.V~
My mouth was still wide open in surprise and uncertainty as he walked closer to me.
He looked different, but no doubt, it was him.
"Damilare!!" I screamed when he eventually stood close to me.
"Amara" he called out laughing really hard.
He embraced me so tight as he laughed more and more.
When he finally released me , I drew back to check him out for a second time.
He really didn't look 46 at all.
"Oh my God, Dami?
Never in this world would I have guessed that I would meet you today." I called out again still surprised.
He laughed.
"Nor did I
it's been a really long time Amara, 25years?"
"It's way more than that"I replied still starring at him in surprise.
" you didn't change so much, I could still tell it was you. I just wanted to be sure" he said laughing..
"Oh stop it. I changed a whole lot" I laughed.
"What happened Dami?, after high school you just blacked out on everyone" I asked looking concerned.
He laughed.
"It's not funny" I replied feigning a sad face.
"I'm really sorry about that Amara. Just that some things came up and I really wanted to be alone." He said calmly.
"You really didn't care about how I would feel? I mean we had something on back then and you just blacked out on me" I said looking at him.
"I'm sorry I did that.
I regretted my actions later.
But then, no one seemed to know your whereabout when I asked.
You know you were almost invisible in school" he said laughing.
I laughed too, realizing that I was actually almost invisible.
No close friends or paddies, just Dami and I.
"I was hurt when you left you know, I felt you didn't want me anymore ,like you dumped me" I said smiling.
"I'm sorry" He said.
"Yeah, it's okay. It's been a long time already, 30 years now I guess" I said
"Wow, it's been that long" he said nodding slowly.
"Since there was no official break up, I guess we are still dating then?" He laughed hard.
"Get out of here!!!" I screamed laughing really hard as I hit him slightly.
We began to walk out of the venue slowly.
"How come you've been in Odure and I never bumped into you until now?" I asked surprised.
Yes Odure was a big town, but at least it should have been possible.
