I put on a headlight, had my flashlight beside me, and as well as my walkie. Malik had already quickly grown some of his hair back, leaving it in a shaggy mullet type style as he still had his bangs. Ben had helped him put on his headlight and malik handed ben his walkie, I saw ben glance at malik and blush again before quickly looking away.

Huh, that was weird.

"Hey um, before we go– I just wanted to...apologize..." ash says.

"Me too." Malik added. "for earlier? when we snapped at you guys."

Both ash and malik glanced at us and I just smiled, waving them off dismissively and handed malik the shotgun,

"It's okay now, don't worry. we have all our moments right?" Taylor says reassuringly.

"Yeah, Tyler has his everyday!" Aiden added.

Tyler clenched his jaw, "excuse me?" he says.

"G-Guys we just stopped fighting. don't start again please..." logan says nervously.

Malik clasps his hand together before speaking. "Alright, then let's do this." he says with determination as he uses the sling from the shotgun to sling around his back, placing his skinning knife into his pocket.

"Get down." I whisper to Aiden, yanking him by the wrist and pulling him down beside me and then looking at logan. "hey- you 100% sure your injury is okay?"

"Yeah, it's pretty much gone now. It's weird." Logan replied.

Malik brows furrowed as he looked down at the bite mark on his wrist, that also healed strangely fast. "Okay, get in your position then." he tells logan.

"Now?" Aiden questioned.

Ashlyn gulps before nodding, "now."

The speakers inside the trees go off, malik grinned. "Hell yeah! my favorite song!"

PARTY WALKERS THE YARD TONIGHT ♪

"Are you serious? Party walkers?" Tyler whispers with his face scrunched in confusion.

"Hater." Malik whispers with a deadpanned look.

"It's a good song!" Aiden whispers back as he dashed past them.

"THE ROPE AIDEN—" I whisper shouted but he had already leaped which made me groan in annoyance.

Malik grinned, "buh-bye! see y'all down below!" he says before doing a backflip.

"That was so not leader-like!" I whisper shouted as I slid down the rope with the others, surprisingly he landed on his feet stealthily.

"RUN!" Malik and ash shouted.

Not gonna lie, those two were really good leaders. I started running fast alongside the others.
