Chapter Twenty Six

Ok sooo.... I decided to continue this story. For a long time I havent really updated cause I have other important things in life. And since I feel like continuing using wattpad, I began to have the urge to write again so Im sorry for the delay and I promise to continue :)

Ps. I literally forgot the plot of this story and some minor information that might come out wrong from the past chapters. So if you're confuse please tell me so I can change it myself.....

Anyway enjoy

Warning....it gets a little steamy in the end

"Hey seriously..."

"Salmon just shut up"

This made me stop. To be honest I wasn't in the mood to argue anyway

Chris led me away where we ordered food in a diner. I thought this was it until he uttered for take out

It didnt take twenty minutes by his pick up truck until we reached our destination. It was dark by now but the moon had cast a glow that lit around us, shadowing with calm and earie sounds.

" now this isn't special or anything, I just thought you might need this though"

"Wha-"

I stop dead on my tracks as I saw the river...it looked so similar to the one behind the house but this was quite bigger and darker

"Please dont tell me....." I said disgust written on my tone as I watched the cold dark water that seemed too coled for swimming

"Chill dude" chris chuckled, already reading my thoughts until he turned and took out a blanket out of nowhere and placed it comfortably on the back of his truck. Our take out was then placed there as he jumped up and held his hand

I watched him smile as he look down at me. The gleam in his eyes made me sigh as I didnt see the point in declining him. Things were just too rumbled to furthur think about anything other than the present

"So this is your plan? Eat a crap load of calaries and while lying down on a cold hard metal floor...."

Chris stopped as if to think about it before shrugging "pretty much"

Whithout thinking, I chuckled in responce before sitting myself down

And then he said in a low murmur

"I know this blanket wont do but its the only thing I have"

"Dont worry about it"

I dismissed him before taking the plastic of my food. I took the chance to look up only to stop short at what I was seeing

"Oh my god" I whispered

Chris who saw my reaction smiled as he shuffled get something.

" Stars are somwhat calming aren't they? it's pretty awesome knowing there are like billions of that little suckers out there..."

I watched in fascination at the sky. I wont lie, I wasn't really the person to notice the stars since there wasnt much in where I could see them but seeing it here out in the open made it look like a canvas filled with sparkling gold

"I- I didnt think I'd see a lot of them" I whispered before turning to Chris only to frown when I realized he just took his flask out. He stopped when he realize where my eyes were drawn to until he gave me a 'what' look

"Are you serious"

Chris then realized my problem until he rolled his eyes out of annoyance before grumbling and putting it back to his pocket, clearly mumbling on it being unfair
