a vile and beloved slut
whose legs are splayed nervously --
pried apart, looking for love
in nightmares and dreams.
i don't know how to uncut
my arms and legs, how to redo
the seams of my hips,
how to tie up my wrists like ribbons
which i ripped when i was in tears
over my love who i've lost --
