i walk off to the kitchen and look through our "junk" filled drawer; things like rubber bands, tape, scissors, stickers, etc are in there.

i grab 4 thumbtacks and walk back to the living room, grab our canvases and walk to my room.

dallas watches suspiciously. "what are you doing?" he says as he gets up and follows me to my bedroom.

i grab a marker from my vanity. "sign this" i say as i hand him his canvas and the marker.

he gives me a confused look, but does as i ask anyway. he marks it with a messy cursive DW.

"thank youuu" i take his canvas and set it down for a moment and put two thumbtacks near eachother on my wall, then hang the canvas on it.

i then sign mine, even though the blood is there, i still find it quite interesting, as if it tells a story.

i hang mine the same way.

"now, yours has a use" i say elbowing him.

"oh, lovely" he says sarcastically, walking out of the room.

i laugh at him, following him. he plops on the couch once again.

i curl my lips "lets go to the record store" i say with a smile growing.

"what are we gonna do there?"

"get me some new music!" i say excitedly, walking out the door to his car.

i hear him groan and he follows. he gets in n starts driving.

it took about 10 minutes until we arrived.

i unbuckle myself and get out of the car, walking my way into the record store.

we both roam around a bit, dallas mostly following behind me like a lost puppy.

the people around us lookin at me real funny cause of the scars on my face.

i stop suddenly causing dallas to nearly run into me. i turn to face him and laugh.

he's looking down at me with furrowed eyebrows, both hands in his pockets.

"damn, dal, lighten up a bit. are you even gonna look at anything?"

"man, i don't even have a player"

"so? it's enjoyable just being here" i say and begin going through some more vinyls.
