~Chapter 13~

--Aurora--

"Come, I'll walk you to your next class,", Dami said after a few moments.

"Uh... y-you don't have too. I mean you have to attend your own class too, so I don't want you to be late for class.", I said softly not wanting to put him in any trouble because of me.

"I don't care if I'm late, plus you still didn't answer my question about you leaving during lunch.", Dami said taking my hand in his gentle before we started walking towards class.

The real question right now is How should I tell him that the actual reason I left during lunch was....because of him??

I had already made Dami very sad before, and I really don't want to make him anymore sad, so I decided to not tell him the truth.

"I-I wanted to use the restroom.", I said looking anywhere except his eyes.

"Really? Because when I checked all the restrooms and you weren't in there.", he replies with narrowed eyes.

Of course, I wasn't there. I had got lost on the way and started crying like a pathetic girl I am, but I can't tell Dami that part because I don't want him to think I'm a crybaby.

Who even wants to be friends with a crybaby?.... Nobody

"Oh sorry, I just remembered... I saw a bird and.... I followed it?.... Yes that's what exactly happened.", I said quickly smiling widely, so he doesn't catch my lie.

Please don't catch my lie! Please Fairy Godmother help me....

"Okay, Which bird?", he asked me narrowing his eyes even more than before .

"Easy....very easy question", I said still smiling widely, so he couldn't see how much I was panicking internally.

Like Shells it is easy! I can't even think of any bird now. The only thing I can think of is cute little golden fishes swimming in the pond, which is not even relevant now!!

" Goldfish ", I blurted out without thinking...

Froggy!! Why me??? Why I'm I so dumb! I couldn't stop the heat crawling up my neck. Im sure I look like a fresh tomato right now!

"What?", He asked confused.

"I mean a Goldfinch....ya a big fat Goldfinch", I said quickly trying to cover up for before.

Thank God, I'm a bit smart atleast.

Dami looked at me weirdly for a moment before laughing aloud.

Why is he laughing?

Is he laughing at me??

"You just.... can't lie. You are..... so cute", he said inbetween of his laughter, pulling me in a tight hug.

How dare Dami makes fun of me!

I pout angrily at him at his meanie behaviour.

I don't like Dami anymore!!!

I quickly pull away from Dami and without even bothering of looking at him, I left stomping my feet angrily.

After a few minutes of searching, I finally find my class. I enter the class quickly as I take the empty seat, in the first row.

I was busy arranging my stationary on my desk when I hear a very familiar voice next to me.

I turn to only see Lucus talking to another boy.

"Luci!!", I squeal loudly to gets his attention.

I could see Dimples face slowly heat up as he turned towards me with a small glare.

"I told you before! Don't Call Me That!", Dimples said in a hushed tone while his friend on the other hand was rolling on the floor with laughter.

" But why??.....Luciii", I teased him softly turning his face a cute bright strawberry pink color.

Aww, he looked too adorable!!!

He huffed as he turned away from me crossing his arms on this chest angrily.

Umm.....I guess that's enough teasing for today.

"Dimplesss", I called only for him to turn away more and huff again.

"Dimples my wonderful friend.", I try again but he doesn't reply.

" Dimples my only best friend, I'm really very sorry. I won't do it again, I promise." I said truthfully waiting for his reply.

He sighs before finally turning towards me.

"Last chance, next time you tease me, I never talk you again........which is impossible but just get the point", he softly warned me.

"Okay Deal", I replied excitedly holding my hand forward for was handshake.

"Deal", he said accepting my handshake as a cute smile finally made its way on his lips.

The rest of the day at school was a completely boring but I was happy to have Lucas in all my classes.

We talked and laughed between most the lectures, Thank God the teacher didn't notice us

I even got to know so many things about him!

Like Dimples has a pet bunny named Carrots, which is so cute!

And how cool is the fact that, Dimples stay only one block away from my house, he even promised me that one day he'll take me to his home to meet Carrots!!!

Standing near the school gate waiting for Momma to come to pick me up from school, I try to recollect everything I learnt in school today...

Okay let's see if I can do this.

I learnt that, Math is really boring no matter you do it at home or at school.

I learnt that, I'm bad at gym, Does that count?.......I don't know.

Who am I kidding, I didn't learn anything at school >.<

School is boring but I'm happy I could make 2 friends, that part was fun.

I guess, I can say school is not that bad as people say it is.

From the corner of my eyes I see Dimples leaving school with the same friend from before.

I wave him a Goodbye and he returns it with a huge smile before waving me for the last time and left.

After a few more minutes of waiting, I finally see my momma's car and I entered it greeting my momma before buckling my seatbelt properly.

Throughout the rest of the car journey home, the only thought going on in my head was...

'I just can't wait for tomorrow'
