Hey guys... sry it took a little longer than usual to update.... I had writer's block but I've decided to write again. Also.... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 1K READSSSSSS!!!! I SAW IT AND I FLIPPED OUT!! Alright, enough waiting so here's another chapter... Enjoy!

Naruto's POV

I run to the border of the exit of Konoha and just start looking around. 

"so he left huh?"

I hear from behind a tree. The person steps out from behind the tree to reveal a certain pink-haired bitch that I want nothing to do with.

"YOU DID THIS... YOU SENT HIM AWAY... THE SASUKE I KNOW WOULD NEVER LEAVE ME" I yelled at her.

She smirks and says "I didn't do this... he left on his own... I saw him leaving the village last night. I was going to say something but I wouldn't want to intervene" 

I hold back trying not to beat the life out of her.

Then all of a sudden I drop to my knees and start crying my eyes out. I can't believe he would just leave. What did I do wrong? I thought he loved me. People who love you don't leave you heartbroken. 

"Look Naruto.... about what happened I-"

"No," I said cutting sakura off

"Just don't apologize.... it's not going to fix anything..." I said as I got up and walked away.

I walked through the village looking down and wondering why the hell Sasuke would just leave me until I got stopped by Shikamaru.

"Hey Naruto.... w-why are you crying?" he asked looking at my tear-stained face.

A few tears dropped from my eyes before I answered "S-Sasuke left me."

"WHAT?! He broke up with you?? where is he?? I'll kick his ass"

I had never seen Shikamaru so pumped up before.... he actually started stretching.

I blinked a few times before I said "no... he left"

"he.... wait.... he left the village??"

"yes."

"Well I mean kicking his ass woulda been a drag anyways.... but why?"

I handed him the note that Sasuke left me which I had been clinging to all morning.

"Are you kidding me.... he wanted revenge??? he left you for revenge???!!!"

Shikamaru hands me back the note and I slowly start walking with Shika right next to me.

"well... have you tried calling or texting?"

I freeze.

Why didn't I think of that?? OF COURSE!

I quickly pull out my phone and see Shikamaru slightly smirking. I glare at him and he stops. I scroll through my contacts until I see Sasuke...well sasUKE.

I press call and it rings... but no answer.

I try 5 more times with the same result. No answer.

Then I get a text. From SASUKE!

Naruto.... stop calling me. I'm not going to talk to you because it will just make me distracted from my goal. I love you.

I then see that Sasuke blocked my number.

I put my phone away and continue walking.

"i-i'll see you later Shika"

Shikamaru's POV

I watch Naruto as he walks away. I had never seen my best friend so hurt before.

I then get an idea. as soon as naruto is out of sight I dial Sasuke's number.

It rings and then...

"h-hello" he answers.... it sounded like he had been crying.... and still is.

"Sasuke... you need to come back RIGHT NOW"

"Shikamaru i can't! Naruto already probably hates me and I'm not about to have left for no reason."

"You're wrong.... Naruto doesn't hate you.... yet.... he's fucking heartbroken Sasuke... SO GET UR SHIT TOGETHER AND GET BACK HERE!!"

I notice a bunch of people started staring at me so I started walking back home.

"Shikamaru... I CAN'T...."

"yes you fucking can.... and if you really cared about naruto like you claim you do, your ass would already be here.... hell if you really cared about him you wouldn't have left in the first fucking place..... so get your fucking priorities straight Sasuke.... because whatever the fuck you do I'm gonna make sure naruto's not the one to get hurt!"

I hang up before he even gets to respond.

No one is gonna hurt my best friend and get away with it. Naruto deserves better than that. He always puts other people first. He's the greatest guy you could ever meet.

I get home and walk to my room and flop on my bed.

What the hell am I going to do?
