Kai does some stretches as he waits for the first set of games to begin. The first game was a obstacle course set up last night by Stoic since Berk was the first to do their trials.

The obstacle course was deadly going around almost the entire island with old dragon hunting traps set up. The real challenge though was that Astrid, the twins, Snot-lout, and Fish-legs would have bags full of powdered paint. They were in charge of throwing paint down on the contestants and whoever got to the finish line with the least amount of paint on them/slash was first would win. Tribes argued that they would be biased against Kai and not aim for him so Dagger volunteered to also participate and that was good enough for the others. Hiccup wasn't joining in because Tooth-less wasn't reacting very well to something on the island so he was staying up in the paddocks. In fact none of the other dragons seemed to like the island very much and all the ninja had taken to wearing plugs that drowned out the ringing in their ears, more or less.

Kai looks at all the other contestants who had learned to be the siblings of all the chiefs except for Roar of Ødgers who turned out to be a older cousin. Ødgers looked like a larger version of his chief cousin except he was taller and had a beard, though it wasn't long enough to be groomed.

"Good luck son!" Stoic calls and Kai flashed him a half smile. "See you on the other side!" Kai calls back. He looks at the others who smiled encouragingly at him and Jay sent a flirty wink that Kai sent back though no one noticed, or at least they thought.

Gobber was waiting by Stoic and he didn't look so good. "Gobber? What's got you so nervous?" Stoic asks his friend. Gobber jumps a little and this confused Stoic. "Nothing Chief just before game jitters is all," Gobber lies, but Stoic shrugs and turned his attention back to his son who had stood place next to Heather and Ryker.

Stoic stood on the platform to go over the rules. "Alright everyone!" Everyone quiets for his booming voice. "The aim of the game is to get to be the last one standing in the Beserkers forest. There are many different paths you can take, but each of them are filled with deadly dragon traps so none of them are going to easy. You can bring any weapon in with you except for a crossbow or a bow and I will have my riders watching from above and if they spot you they will try and throw pouches filled with paint. If even one drop lands on you than you are out and my riders, plus Dagger will make sure you come right back here. So all of you just think of this as your a dragon being hunted," Stoic said and some contestants grit their teeth at the metaphor.

"Now go!" He booms and everyone runs into the forest, but Ryker pushed Kai into Heather and they both tumbled as Ryker had a good laugh disappearing into the forest.

They got up and ran into to forest.

Kai split from Heather and started climbing up in a tree to avoid the traps on the ground. Sadly for him though his bright red clothing made him easy to see from above.

Kai narrowly missed the orange paint that now covered the branch he had just been sitting at. Kai looks up and saw Snot-lout with a smug grin holding another pack. "Good to know your not being biased," Kai calls up to him. "You'll win the others beside," he threw the other one and Kai jumps out of the way. "This is too much fun," He laughs.

Kai returns the smirk. "You know what else is fun?" Kai asks standing to full hieght. "What getting pummeled?" Snot-lout threw his paint just as Kai jumps from that branch to the one below. The Vikings paint landed right in Fish-legs face who had been trying to sneak up on him from behind with green paint.

"Snot-lout!" Fish-legs grumbles his face covered in orange paint. Snot-lout made a sheepish sound while Kai laughs. "Anyway, see ya!" Kai uses his katanas and glided down the tree trunk and than ran avoiding the others.
