Chapter 6 date

I was awoken by the sounds of birds chirping outside the window and also by the loud banging on my door.

" Mmm," I groaned stretching my legs and hands.
I felt a small figure next to me and I assume it was the baby, it's a good thing I didn't crush him in my sleep since I move around a lot on my bed.

I got up stretching some more then sauntering over to the bathroom.
I opened the door and went Inside Enjoying the very soft black carpet that was on the bathroom floor.
I went over to the mirror and took out my black toothbrush with the rubbery bat on it
Then I took my toothpaste and opened the cap pouring some on my toothbrush.
After that was done i brushed my teeth washed my face then dried it.

I entered my room and head over to my wardrobe opening it taking out a pair of black jeans and a black and white T-shirt.
I put them on then put on my white running shoes.
After I was dressed I went out the room but not before locking the door.

Esmeralda was waiting downstairs in the living room when I got there, she was fancily dressed for some unknown reason.
" Morning Esme why so fancily dressed just to check a baby " I said.
" Oh, I'm not.. we have a date.. remember? " She asks blushing furiously.
" A date? " I asked.
" Uh huh, and you.. " she trails off then squealed happily covering her face with her scarf.
" And I what? " I asked annoyed.
" You.. have.. to.. kiss.. me " she drawled.
I exhaled in frustration is this stupid girl that blind to see I'm not into her and I never will be
She's so not my type I don't have a type it's so obvious why does she likes me so much.
" So.. " she said looking up through her glasses.
" Will you? " She asks.
" Yes, as soon as I'm back from the market, we'll go on our first date " I said.
" Oh Yay! " She exclaims excitedly jumping up and down.

" It's time to head out jack " koichi said getting my attention.
" See you Esme " I said.
" She's staying here? With whom? " Koichi asks.
" Does it matters let's go " I said.

Time skipped.

We all walked down the streets through the market buying all the things that we needed and other things like Halloween definitely since it was just around the corner.
" Should we buy already cut pumpkins or get ones from the garden and cut them ourselves? " Koichi asked.
" Oh we can get our own it's a save of money " Scarlett said.
" So cheap " Kenny said.
" Huh!? What did you say dumbass cause your just jealous I'm so creative and your not " Scarlett spat angrily.
" Oh please, all you like to do is plant flowers and bake cookies it's not like you ever cut a pumpkin before " Kenny said riling her up even more.
" Grrr well guess who greedily eats the cookies asshole! " She yells causing a few people to stare at them bickering.
" Oh please they were nasty anyway " Kenny said.
" You litt- " okay that's enough Scarlett " Dracula said.
" Hmph " she says stumping away.

The rest of the shopping went very quiet since Scarlett decided to go away and buy flower seeds and Kenny went away somewhere with Vincent.
So it was just me koichi and Dracula left to do the rest of the shopping.

" I can't wait to decorate our house in cobwebs and real skeleton bones yay " koichi said excitedly jumping up and down.
" So jack, you haven't forgotten about the dare have you " Dracula said.
" Uh.. no why? " I asked taking up an apple from the fruit container that was in the store and biting it.
" Hey! Stop stealing " koichi said.
" Who said I wasn't gonna pay " I said and threw the apple on his head.
" Ah don't waste it either " he said crossing his arms.
" It wasn't that sweet anyway '' I said.
" So who are you going to kiss? " Dracula asked.
" Mm.. Esme, I suppose " I said.
" Uh huh, she said they had a date " koichi said giggling.
" Oh that's new " Dracula said.
" Yeah.. but I doubt it'll last, I really don't like that girl like that " I said truthfully.

" If you don't like her th- " oh hi Jack what a nice surprise '' a familiar voice said from behind me.
I turned to see a guy with dark blue hair ' who the f**k is that? ' I thought as I stared at him wondering why he looks so familiar until it dawned on me.
" Danny " I said finally realizing who it was.
" Haha, I almost didn't recognize you since you ran off so fast but I have a very good memory " he said.
" Haha yeah " I faked laugh, how embarrassing he remembers that.
" Who's this? " Dracula asked.
" Just someone I met.. like just the other day " I said.
" Oh, he's so cute isn't cuties your type of guys? " Koichi asked.
" W..uh koichi! " I said.
" Sorry! I didn't mean to tell him your secret " koichi said putting his hands up.
" That's not even my secret you idiot! " I said through gritted teeth.
" Um.. so you shopping? " Danny asks.
" Yeah.. " I said.
" Hm " he said biting his bottom lip.
The awkwardness of it all.
" Are we going home tomorrow or what? " Dracula asked.
" Uh huh stop this awkwardness " koichi said.
" How about we exchange numbers? " Danny asks.
' shit I don't even have a phone, just my luck damnit ' I thought.
" You can just give him your number since he didn't bring his phone " koichi suggested.

" Okay " Danny said taking out a piece of paper and writing his number it then handing it to me.
I was going to take it but koichi snatched it and stuffed it in his pocket.
" No time to waste let's go cash these! " He said then grabbed my hand and led me away.

The shopping was finally over and we were all heading back to the mansion.
And of course Scarlett and Kenny kept arguing the whole way about who gets to.. uh what was it again I don't even remember since they started arguing about other things to.
" Kody.. what are you going to do with Danny's number? " I asked skeptically.
" Huh, oh well I'll just throw it away that's what " he said bluntly.
" Huh? Why? " I asked.
" Your dating Esme remember, so you can't have any distractions like that human, besides I think he likes you " koichi said.
" Wha- " he's right so don't argue " Dracula said cutting in.
" You can't prevent me from seeing someone like it's any of your business if I like them or not! " I snapped then ran off to the mansion.

I went straight to my room when I reached the mansion.
Esme was sitting on the bed rocking the baby in her hand.
" Put him back to sleep " I said sitting on the couch near the bookshelf.
" He woke up and asked for you but I told him you were away but he insists so he's been waiting till you got back " she said.
I looked at Freddy who stared at me his big blue eyes bright and beautiful.
" Papa " he said reaching his hand out for me.
I sighed getting up then walking over to him.
" Whole me papa " he said stretching out his hand so far he almost fell out of Esmeralda's hand but I catch him before he could.
" Why does he wants you to hold him so bad " she said pouting slightly.
" I don't know the brat just likes me so much " I said rocking him a bit.
" So.. are we going on our first date now? " Esme asked.
I sighed softly setting Freddy on the bed who clung to my shirt tightly but I manage to get him to let go.

" We'll go, but we can't stay that long " I said sternly.
" O..okay so we can come back at ten " she said.
" No, that's not gonna cut it " I said but I really didn't want to stay that long with her cause I fear I may take things further than she can handle and that wouldn't be good.
" So.. then what time shall we return " she said.
" At eight but you must be the one to remind me " I said.
She nodded unsurely.
" Papa no leave! " Freddy said standing on the bed stretching out his hand.
" I'll leave Vincent to play with you okay " I said lifting him up on my hip.
" Mm mm no papa no leave " he said pulling my hair.
" Aw, aw don't- ah! Freddy! " I said slapping his hand.
" Aahhh " Freddy cried out holding his hand.
" Don't do that again " I warned him.
Freddy pouted resting his head on my chest sobbing quietly.
