Rhea was panic-stricken, "How?!!" she thought

Arun: Hi Rhea, kaisi ho? he smirked 

Rhea: Tu-tum yaha per kya kar rahe ho, she stammered 

Ishqi: Rhea- tum isse dekh kar itni shock kyun ho rahi ho? she said pretending to be oblivious

Rhea: Mein isse nahi janti, she replied in an instant

Sonu: Toh phir yeh kya hai? she said while showing the Mehta's images she and Kartik had found of Arun & Rhea 

"Yeh pictures fake hai" Rhea lied 

Kartik: Acha toh phir yeh kya hai- 

Kartik turned the projector on and played tapes of Rhea's old friend-turned-enemies unmasking Rhea's real identity and showed images and videos as proof. Rhea knew that now she was caught but she still kept part of her act going.

Rhea: Haan, theek hai mein isse jaanti houn, lekin usse kya prove hota hai? she said trying to seem confident 

Ishqi: Prove toh bohot kuch hogaya hai Rhea- unn mein se 2 cheeze yeh hai ke tum AVM ke saath relationship mein hoke unhe cheat kar rahi thi aur yeh baccha AVM ka nahi Arun ka hai-

Rhea: K-Kya, Na-nahi, yeh Ahaan ka hi baccha hai, she stuttered 

Radhika Mehta: Koi proof hai tum logon ke paas?

Kartik: Aunty, humarey paas proof hi proof hai- he nudged Arun to speak and he revealed everything, the Mehta's were petrified while the Malhotra's grinned. 

Ahaan: Aur yeh reports hai jinn mein saaf saaf likha hai ke yeh baacha Arun ka hai, Rhea ke pait mein jo baacha hai uss ka DNA Arun ke saath match hota hai- Medical reports ko toh aap log deny nahi kar sakte na-

Rhea: But Ahaan- 

Ishqi: Aab toh thori sharam karlo Rhea- tum aur tumhari family ka puri tarah se pardah faash ho chuka hai- aur tum logon ke galat kaamo ke liye tum logon ko saza bhi mileygi-

Sonu: Not only yeh pregnancy ka blame bhai per lagane ke liye but Ishqi ko kidnap karwana ka crime, mall ki construction kharab karna ka crime aur business mein fraud karne ke liye aap logon ko jail hogi-

Mr. Mehta: Jail? Tum log mujhe jail karwao he? he cackled 

"Kaise prove karo ge ke meine yeh saab kiya, huh- koi proof nahi hai tum logon ke pass" he said 

Kartik: Sir, jaise meine pehle bhi kaha, humarey paas proof hi proof hai, hum aap logon ki taarah bewakoof toh hai nahi. Jab Malhotra's saath mil kar koi plan banate hai toh woh foolproof hota hai- he said tranquilly 

Sonu played the confession tapes of Mr. Mehta's workers and then the CCTV footage of the mall. 

Mr. Mehta: Isse kuch prove nahi hota- Mein keh du ga ke you guys are trying to trap me- police tum logon ki baseless baaton per yakeen nahi kareygi 

Ishqi: Agar unhone khud sunn li ho phir bhi nahi? she smirked

Radhika Mehta: What nonsense-

Just then the police entered the Malhotra mansion and handcuffed the Mehta's who were now scared witless. 

Ahaan: Mr. Viren Mehta, ek baat aur, by now you guys have probably seen how flawlessly our plan panned out- we've recorded your confession and everything else you've said the moment you entered our house. 

Ishqi: Next time soch samaj ke panga lena aur humari family se 200km dur hi rehna- 

The Malhotra's were all beaming with happiness, they had successfully kicked a huge stumbling block out of their lives. The quartet thanked Arun and paid him- 

They celebrated in their den with beer, juice and snacks. 

In that moment Ahaan and Ishqi both thanked their lucky stars for making them cross paths, they smiled at each other, their eyes twinkled with immense contentment  and the duo made a silent promise. 🌌✨
