As Ahaan declared Ishqi to be his wife, everyone's mouths hung open, there was an appalled silence when Kartik yelled, "WHAT THE FUDGE?!" - he'd heard Ahaan's last sentence and couldn't tell if he was dreaming or if his deep in denial, older brother was calling his best friend's "wife" his own.
Like Kartik, everyone too wasn't believing the news Ahaan had just announced, they'd "seen" Mayank and Ishqi's wedding, how could Ishqi and Ahaan's marriage have happened! They all wondered. "Puttar! Tu hosh mein hai ki nahi!" Dadi managed to voice out amidst the shock.
"Yeh toh hosh mein hai par lagta hai ke aapke hosh udd gaye!" Ishqi muttered under her breath."A-Ah- Ahaan w-what are you saying?!" Rhea said to him-
Ahaan: Jo aap logon ne sunna wohi! I'm married now! Ishqi and I and married! he said happily-
Suman Auntie: Beta?! Tum dono yeh kya- M-Mayank kahan hai??! she yelled, loosing her cool-
Kartik walked towards the couple and whispered to them, "Ishqi, bhai ne drink ki hai?! Ishqi ke liye feelings hai yeh pehle mann liya hota toh kal raat ko chaana mereya gaana aur dukh mein peena na parta! Haayee!! Bhaiiii, chalein iss se pehle Dadi aur Sarla Auntie ki nazaarein hi aap dono ko maar dale!"
Ishqi giggled a little at Kartik's dramaticness while Ahaan said, "Kartik! Tu pagaal hogaya hai kya! Aur saab ko hum nashe mein kyun lagh rahe hai!?"
Kartik: Aap baatein hi aisi kar rahe ho! Aap "The Great Ahaan Veer Malhotra" hi ho na!?
"AHAAN! Tu chal mere saath!" Dadi yelled as she stood up from her seat, "Meine tere se kuch baat karni hai!" she needed to fix her grandson's unusual behaviour before what he was saying actually came true.
Ahaan: Okay, let's go Ishqi- he said as he turned to follow Dadi but she stopped in her tracks, "Meine iss ladki ko nahi kaha!"
Ahaan: Yeh ladki aab meri wife hai! Aur mere aur meri wife ke beech kuch bhi chuppa nahi hona chahiye, issiliye jo aapko kehna hai yah toh woh aap yahan hi bol dijiye yah phir mein AUR Ishqi aapke saath aate hain! he snapped at his grandma, for the first time in his life- leaving everyone shocked-
Dadi gasped, "T-Tu iss ladki ke liye aapni Dadi se batameezi kar raha hai!"
Ahaan: Batameezi nahi kar raha, aapko kuch batane ki koshish kar raha houn but aap hai ke kuch samaj hi nahi rahi!
Dadi: Iss mein kuch sunne yah samajne ke liya hai hi nahi!
Sarla: Ahaan, hum Ishqi-Mayank ki shaadi mein the! Tu yeh kya nonsense baatein kar raha hai!
Ahaan: Gi...aap log the but shaadi mein Mayank nahi tha! Sehre ki neeche mein tha!
Suman Auntie: ABHI KAHAN HAI MAYANK!
Just as she finished saying that Mayank walked into the garden, rubbing his eyes- A staff member had let him out after he'd banged on the door for thirty minutes straight. He immediately bolted towards Ishqi and Ahaan and yelled, "AHAAN! TU NE KYA MILAYA THA USS DRINK MEIN!"
