Rudra missed bhavya and would often text or call her. Bhavya would reply whenever possible but her busy schedule did not allow her much free time.

[Rudra - Ru, Shivaay - S, Gauri - G]

Rudra wanted to explore his feelings for bhavya, so he invited her for lunch.

Ru: Bhavya, i wanted to talk to you about something. I don't usually do this, girls in the college run behind me. I don't know when this happened but I really like you, will you be my girlfriend?

Bhavya: Rudra... we can't

Ru: Do you not like me?

Bhavya: Rudra, i see you just as a friend. But we can never date, we are very different. You're a nice guy but I'm 4 years older than you. I have a job and responsibilities, you're still a child. You have your whole life ahead of you, you should focus on making something of yourself. Date people who are like you. I'm sorry if any of my actions mislead you but I don't want this.

She got up and left. This was a hard blow for Rudra's ego. Girls threw themselves at him, he had to find ways to get rid of them. For the first time he made himself vulnerable to a girl and he got rejected.

He was hurt, not just his ego, but his heart. He actually, genuinely liked her. He stayed there alone for sometime before going back home.

Ru: O, can we talk

Om: You look upset Rudra, what's up

Ru: i got rejected by a girl today

Om: serves you right (he chuckled), you change girlfriends at the speed of light

Ru: O, I'm serious, i actually liked her

Om: tell me everything

Rudra old him everything, bhavya's mission, their friendship, her reason for rejecting him

Om: She's right rudra, you're younger than her. Now I'm not saying age is an issue, but your maturity level is. You have no responsibilities, you go to college and later you chill with your friends. She has a lot of responsibilities and a job she really loves. You should move on, you're both very different

G: Rudy bhaiyya, do you really like her or is it about your ego being hurt?

Ru: no bhabhi, i like her and now i've lost her as a friend also. I wish I hadn't told her about my feelings, at least she'd be my friend then

G: if you really like her, then you should listen to her. You're in your final year, why don't you look for work? Become responsible, then you'll be able to understand her perspective

Om: she's right, don't do it to pursue her, do it for yourself. Maybe she came into your life to help you grow. You've seen how much shivaay has changed, how much i've changed. Even you became a bit mature hanging out with saumya. Bhavya is a step towards your growth. Take it in a positive light and create a bright future for yourself.

Ru: thanks O, thanks Bhabhi. You're right, bhavya said everything out of concern and i will respect her feelings and stay away. I have to go talk to shivaay bhaiyya now.

As rudra walked out of their room, Om and Gauri looked at him with concern
