The Queen's General (✓)

CHAPTER 5

The Queen is walking in the garden with Captain Jung Hoseok with a few guards holding a leash of 4 dogs

her Majesty's royal dogs but for her they are her babies though they're not anymore for they are all 1yr old above, dobermans and German shepherds are quite big enough even they are a few months old

The general saw them upon he entered the garden, he give respect to the queen when he's a few steps away from her

Captain Hoseok smile at him and tap his shoulder

The dogs seems to know him for they are excited to see the general, their tails are waging, barking to get some attention, some wants belly rubs

The Queen smile seeing how her dogs interact with him.

"Seems like my dogs like you more than me" she smiles, reach out her hand to one of the dogs but all of them get back to their places beside her

"Wow, they are well trained!" Jungkook said, amazed on how the queen commands them

"Thanks to our Captain Hoseok I'm so excited when he notified me about my babies" she giggles

The Captain are standing tall and smiling proud beside the general..

"Your majesty, the general had a part of training them as well when I told him they are for you, but he mostly teach them how to be playful" he smirk

The Queen are petting them and turn to look at Jungkook hearing the Captain was saying

"Really? That's great, It won't be hard for me to teach them whose to listen"

They all laughing when the general remembered to ask why he's being called

"Excuse me your Majesty but you called me here, may I know the reason?" The general inquire

"Oh, I want to tell you about the guards assigned at the entrance of the palace,. my mom got angry awhile ago cause my long lost cousin Arianna just walks casually out of nowhere in the dining area uninvited, she made a rude remarks about my dad and eagerly to stay in the palace..." the Queen informed

The general got furious, he didn't expected his guards are so useless about protecting the Queens, what if she's not truly her cousin and planning more just to stay in the palace

" I will do something about it your Majesty, my sincere apology about what happened" he bow saying those

"Good thing nothing happened to you and the queen mother your Majesty" captain Hoseok said worried for the Queens and angry for those soldiers

" we can take care of ourselves" she smiles sweetly

"but your Majesty, it's our duty to protect you... " Jungkook and Hoseok said at the same time

" Yeah, you said it before, I know, don't worry too much, She's harmless... She's all bark and no bite, right sweetie?" she turn to her dogs and pet them

" But your Majesty, it will be my fault when something bad happened to you and I won't be able to forgive myself" he clench his fist, he can't believed his guards just let the intruder walk inside the palace and said those horrible things to the previous king

Thinking of what he could do to those guards he decided to ask permission to leave

"I will take my leave now your Majesty" Jungkook said suddenly. He wants to leave right away and meet the guards that had duty when the incidents happened.

They will receive punishments and go back to retraining if they have too. Protecting the Queens is a serious job for the royal army.

He will make sure the one he will assign for their safety can do their job properly
