The Duke and Duchess of Windsor came to visit their son Seojoon to have a talk to him, the news about their son came to the palace to express his disappointment about the queen having a romantic relationship with her general came to their knowledge

They didn't expect that their son would questions the queen's decision about her personal life

They know Seojoon has special feelings for the young queen but didn't confirm it to her. Him visiting the queen is always official and never personal so if he felt somehow that he's being rejected is not the queen's fault

Seojoon didn't expect the visit so when he saw his parents sitting in his living room, he just smiled at them thinking his father giving him another task to do

"Good morning dad, mom. What's the reason of your sudden visit? Another task or just simply missing me?" He smiles delightfully

He takes the seat beside his mom that never leaves his hands till he settles beside her

"Is it true that you went to the palace to personally questions the young queen about her having a relationship?"

"Yeah, I went there before the cultural festival, why? Something wrong?" He ask looking at them but didn't like how his father furrowed his eyebrows

"What are you thinking? What's the reason?" His father voice out his disappointment

"I just want to know for all her suitors he chose that man? He's just a simple man, he doesn't even has royal blood in him" he said irritated, he doesn't like to talk about it anymore but his parent came just to talk about him

"You're not in a position to questions her majesty" his mom look at him sadly

"But why not? I'm your son, I'm part of the monarchy, I even want her to be my wife but she chose him over me!"

"Have you propose to her?"

"I have not but isn't obvious that I like her?" He ask back

"I didn't raise you like this Seojoon"
His mom says disappointed to every word her son is saying

"Mom, don't be like that.. I went there cause I wanted her to consider me but... "

"But what? What else did you do?"

"I didn't had a talk to her, instead the queen mother is the one talk to me" he said looking down

"The Queen mother? Queen Jin? And what did she said?" His mom gets a hold of her fan suddenly became hot in her place

"She said she doesn't have a problem with the General to be her daughter's boyfriend"

"This is embarrassing.. she's our dear friend, what would she think after this? We need to apologize to her dear" dad hold his mom's hand saying

"But why do you need to apologize to her? I didn't do anything wrong. I just asked."

"First, you didn't propose to the young queen but still asked for an explanation why she chose the general over you, and the queen mother herself told you she doesn't have a problem about her daughter's chosen partner" his mother explains to him

"And so?" He ask nonchalantly

"So? Didn't you know the rules for the queen for choosing a consort?"

"I know, they need to have royal blood right?" He says unsure

"No, not specifically. She can choose whoever she likes as long as he's honourable and whoever she chose didn't get a title higher than the queen, it means even if Queen Taehyung chose you, you'll never be King"
