The Queen's General (✓)

CHAPTER 16

It's only been 3 days since the queen spent her vacation with her best friend but she still doesn't know the news about the attack on Dunsley. The Queen Mother is helping his friend for handling the situations

She assigned General Jeon and his troop to give assistance to the royal army of Dunsley to give help in any aspects.. but the situation got worse when the attack is happening frequently..they having war against terrorist

One morning, General Jeon and his troop have their fair share of patrolling the area when a bomb exploded near where their vehicle park

They are alerted to the sound and take cover and then it begins, some one started to shoot at them, the citizens that in the area hides to not get involved and the firing never stops, their sniper Huening Kai saw where the firing comes from and take his first shot, a man in a military uniform fall dead in his hiding place with a hole between his eyes

General Jeon taps his shoulder giving thanks for his work till the other rebels force to show themselves and fires back but the troops of the general didn't fall back, they take cover until everyone take their shots to kill all the rebels in place

Minutes pass with continuous shooting  in both parties till the  firing stops thinking every enemies are already dead. Jeon stands up from his hiding place looking everywhere to check if anyone in his troops got hurt when a single shot rings in every ear, a shout heard with an agony 

The General held his arm bleeding kneeling in one knee.

"Officer down! I repeat! officer down! Get here the medic!!" An officer kneeling down on general Jeon compressing his hands on his wounds to stop the bleeding

Kai saw who shot their General and positioned himself to kill the man in his telescope. And again the man dropped dead before it can fire the 2nd bullet

The military doctor with them runs to the general to perform the first aid before Jeon falls to the ground losing consciousness due to blood lost. The ambulance arrived within minutes and drove at the nearest hospital, the busy emergency room made way to the injured soldier. The operation starts to remove the bullet in his upper arm.

A bags of blood on a way to transfuse, Jeon is loosing too much blood

This all happened without the knowledge of the young queen still enjoying her vacation with the Duchess. They are having fun riding horses that afternoon, they got home to take a break and have some refreshments when the young queen heard the servants talking about what just happened in the market central when she decided to walk in the kitchen to get her drinks

"I got really scared when the shooting starts, I thought I wouldn't be able to get out of there unharmed" the girl in her late 20's started talking to the chef while arranging the things she bought in the market for today's dinner

"But our troops are in there taking care of the situation helping the army of Dunsley" the other girl butt in

" I heard the ambulance that came got the general inside.. he got shot on his shoulder!?" The other one said

" What?!" The queen gasp asked the servants what they were talking about

"What is this you talking about? Shooting? Got shot in the shoulder? Who's this general that got hurt?!" Her voice raised and worried written in all over her face

"Your Majesty, we were very sorry for talking this.. we didn't mean too" the servant apologize bowing at her

"I believed I ask you something didn't I!? Answer my question before I lose every patience that I have right now!!!"

" General Jeon is the one that hurt your Majesty" the other servants answer her inquiry looking down, now afraid for the Queen is angry, her eyes widened hearing the general's name can't believe what she just heard
