The Queen's General (✓)

CHAPTER 18

Taehyung gets back to the palace with her mom but before that, she showers the Captain with a lot of reminders about the general.. she might be overreacted about what happened but the thought of losing his hyung in that way always breaks her heart

She leaves the bouquet of flowers Seojoon hyung gave to him and places it in a vase. She orders more and decorates his room with a lots of flowers. She read somewhere that flowers help the patient to recover fast so she did before going back to the palace with her mom

Her secretary came to her after they had lunch and she made a schedule to meet all the soldiers her mom deployed for helping the Dunsley situations. She's grateful to have men like them

She got a training that afternoon with her coach in sword handling, her coach under-estimated her and attacked her from behind didn't expect the queen to swiftly move from his hold and make him met her blade right in his neck, one wrong move and his throat will slit

He's lucky enough that the sword is much heavier, if it's a knife maybe he will get a much deeper cuts from the queen for the way she sway it like it's nothing, the queen manages to give her coach a few cuts in the arms and shoulder, the queen knows where in the body is the veins to cut. If she decides to give him a much deeper cut maybe he would get out of the gym with a blood bath

He asks the Queen if she's alright for he is observing her, its obvious that she's thinking about something and that frustrating her.. she got a firm hold of the sword with an angry expression, she told him she's fine but eventually admits that she's angry about a certain person's condition

She wants to know who's the master mind of the attack, those rebels are just pawns, there must be someone giving the command

Evening comes but all of her minds think is the general, she's in the living room contemplating if she will give Captain Hoseok a call. She's sitting near the telephone in the living room. She wants to know how's the general. 

But to her surprise, the Captain walks in looking lost in his thoughts.. captain Hoseok got his eyes widened not expecting to see the Queen sitting right there that looks like she's waiting for someone.

Their eyes met and both of them were shocked to see each other. Captain Hoseok didn't expect that he would meet the young queen that hour of the night sitting near the telephone.. he thought she was in the office like she used to, he was planning to go to her to personally explain why he's back.

"Good evening your Majesty" he greets

"Why are you here Captain? Who's with the General?!" She asks confusedly, she remembers her instructions very well to not leave the General alone in the hospital

"He's in his room in the barracks now my queen, he doesn't want to stay another night in the hospital, he insist that he can manage, his doctors gave him consent to discharge"

" What! Why? But he's still weak! How did the doctors give him the permission for discharge?!" She stands up, not believing what the Captain is saying

"but his doctors gave him the permission your Majesty, and strictly instructed him not to force his body to move, to prevent his wound to open and got infections. He really wants to be back your Majesty"

" He said he will be healed anywhere. It doesn't matter if he's in the hospital or  his private room in the barracks"
The captain said smiling knowing the truth that the general is eager to get out of there to be with the queen, or just be near her

"He's so stubborn!" The queen muttered

"He's with a male nurse my queen, nothing to worry about"

" I will visit him later" the queen whispers
