Duchess Jimin and I are planning for her birthday but as mom says, a week before that is the celebration of the cultural festival. We want to have fun too but as a queen, if I join the games there will be a lot of trouble for they make sure I'm safe and tourists might not like it

My guards will be all over the place but I want to join the locals for the event. I feel sad thinking about it? why can't I join them?

Jimin smiles at me and I'm familiar with that kind of smile, there's something brewing in her mind

"Tae, don't be sad, I know what we have to do so we can have fun too" she wiggles her eyebrows while side-hugging me on the couch

"Mom won't allow me you know that right? and Jungkook hyung will be tired of guarding me!" I facepalm worried but I'm desperate to join the games outside the palace

When I was little we couldn't join the games either. Dad won't allow me even though Jungkook is with me at that time. All they do is make games inside the palace, our version of games so I can experience it too but now that I can take care of myself I want to experience it on my own with the locals just like ordinary people

"Let's disguise ourselves! We can do that" she smiles sheepishly walking to my closet

"We can even wear a wig. That will be a lot of fun!"

"Are you sure? What if they caught us? Mom surely ground me for a month!" I sound like a teenage girl craving for some fun but can't

"Trust me.. they will never notice, just say you need more rest then and no one will disturb you in your room" she prepares a clothes for me to wear

Days past and it's time for a cultural festival, Tae is nervous for it's her first time being out of the palace without any guards with her, not even her dogs. Jimin is being discreet but King Min always checking on them from time to time, maybe be he got an intuition that his fiancée are up to something

They got dressed after the Queen announced that the festival is officially open. Jungkook got a lot busier than usual and asked Captain Hoseok to look out for the ladies with 2 lady guards with him

The young queen told her assigned guards that she wants to rest and no one should disturb them, Duchess Jimin is with her in the room, they shouldn't be worried for they'll be staying inside

The guards are staying just outside the door but Jimin plan this day so well

She asked the guards to get them some snacks in the kitchen, they went to do what she asked. Tae gets out of the room and hides at the corner of the corridor near the back door, Jimin waits for the guards to get back with the snacks in hand and put it inside, she got out of the room alone and guards didn't suspect anything. She met Tae hiding, nervous at the back door, Jimin put her hoody cloak and they got out without any guards suspecting that their queen is out ready to have some fun to play with locals

The queen seems not breathing while walking away at the palace, afraid to make a sound, that someone might notice her but got relaxed after they passed the last post of guards.

Jimin thought her plans are smooth. Not knowing a group of eyes are watching them the moment they got out from the back gate of the garden

They were laughing knowing they had fooled them and the way they act like fugitives just to get out of that place

"Tae,stay close, there's a lot of people here and I don't want to lose you, we have to be careful from now on. We're far from the palace, I want us to have some fun but from this moment I should take care of you" her voice worried realizing how dangerous their situation is
