"Have you heard the news?"
Taehyung gives her a bored look and shifts her attention to the documents she needs to work on. It's too early for the gossip. Being a queen in almost 4 years now, she's so done with all of it but Jimin wouldn't stop by anyone to tell it to her bestfriend

"Tae, did you heard?"
She asked again but Taehyung continue to write on the paper and hums at her

"They say her baby Joesan is his"

The giddiness she's feeling eventually died down because the queen shows no emotions at all. No interest on what she's about to say

"Tae, are you not going to do anything?"

Taehyung finally look at her in the eye with a tight smile
"I will leave it all to him, we had to talk about it and I believe I have no reason to be worried about it"

"That's it?"
Jimin is disappointed though she's happy that her friend is not bothered of it

"what else it could be? What do you want me to do? Confront that woman and stoop low on her level?"
She smirks as she leans to the table and gets busy with her work

"that is not what I meant.. what I'm saying is. You should release an official statement to clear that allegations. Having an illegitimate child will cause his downfall"

"We were into it and I believe Jungkook can clear his name on his own and if he couldn't then I'll help him.. i will always help him"

"I know but you know, the members of the parliament.. the ministries and nobles.. they can have a ground to dethrone him if ever... "

Taehyung doesn't want to glares at her best friend but the words she's saying makes her ears hurts. She put down her pen and look straight to her eyes

"I won't allow it.. I give him that title because he deserves it. As my husband, he is entitled to it and no one can dethrone him aside from me!"

"I know your Majesty but what I'm saying is. We should prevent those things from happening.. we know not all of them is fond of his highness"

"I don't really care whose fond or not to my husband! I don't really give a shit about it. He's the one I chose to be by my side and that will stay as long as I'm on the throne!"

She rise from her seat and leans a hand on the desk.. she didn't mean to raise her voice to the Queen of Dunsley but just by thinking of anything they could do to him triggers her emotions to defends her Prince

"I apologize your Majesty.. I'm just worried of him too.. I know there's no way Jungkook would do such things behind your back. He would never do that to you"

Taehyung feels her knees weakens and drop back on her seat.. she can't understand why these things happening to her General. Since she have married to him, rumors lingers around them but this is the worse. Why they are thinking of him this low. As if Jungkook didn't made such honor in the line of duty protecting the royals of their Kingdom

"I'm sorry.. I just,.. I don't want to get worried about these issues cause I know deep inside of my heart.. my husband is faithful to me.. he loves me so much Jiminie.. I know you know that too right? So please.. what I'm only asking you is to have faith with him too"

"I have faith with him, I'll defend him no matter where or when and I promise you, I'll help him and punish those who did this issue so huge that they have the intention to destroy his reputation"
