CHAPTER 14

I woke up early to make sure everything is good for the queen to travel and hoping I can have a talk to her before she go

So I did go to her office to give her an update and knows what hour exactly they are going

The Queen is looking beautiful wearing a simple white off shoulder dress sitting infront of her table signing some documents

She glanced at me but continued to work while I was talking about the things she needs to know while she's away

"Good morning your majesty, general Soobin will be staying with you and the suitcase is all in the carriage now as we speak" she gave me a nod while reading

She closes the folder and takes a look at me

"I will take my breakfast here and then we will go off."

" My queen, can I talk to you for a moment" I hesitantly ask

" What is it general?" She's having a serious face

" Her grace told me last night that you are hurting, may you tell me why and who's the cause of it, I'm worried"

She stares at me before deciding to speak

" I'm all good general, don't worry about me"

I walk closer to her and ask again

" Let me know if I'm at fault somehow your majesty, I want to know if in any circumstances I disappoint you or made a mistake without me realizing it"

She walks towards me and leans on her table without smiling even a little

" And what you're going to do if it's you? "

" I'll try my very best to apologize and make things right My Queen" I walk closer and hold her hand

She looks down contemplating if she's going to tell me

" I.... I just wondering.... If I.... If I'm important to you hyung... " She stays to look down not wanting to look at me and see my reaction to her questions

"My queen, what kind of question is that, of course you're important to me. Let me know what you're thinking your majesty, what's bothering you?" I gave her hand a soft squeeze

"I'm going to miss you hyung" she look at me with teary eyes

" My queen, I'm going to miss you too"

This is the longest time she will be away from the palace. I don't know if I can stand a day without seeing her for a whole day much more for a 5 days straight

Her eyes widen looking at me

" Really hyung? You're going to miss me?"

"Of course My Queen, what are you thinking? Of course I'm going to miss you! general Soobin will take care of you while you're staying there, I assigned more guards for you my queen, don't worry" I pulled her close and hugged her, my one hand in her waist she leans on my chest hearing my heart beat

"If only I will be the one comes with you but can't do, the queen mother personally requested me to stay here and tell general Soobin to be with you"

She looks surprised hearing it from me

"Mom wants it? I didn't know anything about it" she said clutching in my uniform

I caress her back inhaling her sweet scent. I felt my uniform getting wet because of her tears

"Tell me my queen, what are your worries, I don't want to see you cry, I want to take away your pain" but she stays quiet

After  a few minutes she calm down and look up at me while I'm still hugging her, I wipe her tears and she stays to look at me leaning to my touch
