Grievous silence fills our ears as no one dares to move a muscle. Either all of us are astonished or don't have a single word to say. Of course, one of us still has a lot to whine about.

"What army? What are you talking about? Who would dare attack our coven?! This is preposterous!" Caius spits his hatred filled dark as blood venom all around himself and only makes every single one of us more tense and irritated. He stops strutting around like a peacock and glides his sharp as knife eyes to the Cullens. "Don't you see that this filthy coven wants to dispose of us, so that they could come into power?! They planned all of this amusing performance to bewilder us and then destroy—.."

He doesn't have enough time to finish this insane absurdity because my hand collides with the left side of his face. No one noticed as I escaped Alec's embrace and flashed across the hall towards him like a gust of wind. His blonde head whips to the other side as the sickening sound of a smack rings through the shocked silence.

I stand up straight and lower my hand but keep a deadly glare on my angelic face. Caius grabs his cheek and looks at me with murderous and deranged eyes. His lips form a disgusting scowl.

"Enough! I won't let you insult and dishonor them with your sick, foolish and demented accusations! They deserve respect for coming here in time to inform and warn us about the danger." I hiss angrily through my teeth and from the corner of my eye I see a silly smile spread across Emmet's face which takes away a lot of my anger. I regain my posture and take a slight step back.

There is no surprise that Caius tries to attack me but once again gets stopped this time by no other than his dark haired brother. Aro puts his arm on the blonde's shoulder and keeps him in place.

"Rabbonire, mio fratello. This is no time for accusations. I believe in what I saw. Don't you trust me, brother?" Aro asks calmly and I notice a slight authoritative and dangerous note hidden in his soft voice that instantly soothes and restrains Caius. "Besides, both of our covens are involved into this hell.." his blood red eyes find mine. "Especially — our dear Serena." My eyebrow knit in confusion as his words make me feel slightly uncomfortable.

"What.. What do you mean?" My voice sounds so fragile and soft as I look for an answer in Alice's eyes. She looks at me sorrowfully and it seems that she is trying to find the right words.

"You see.. we explained that the vision was very unclear and full of symbols that indicated both the Olympian and Volturi covens, but the only one I could distinguish properly, the only person  I recognized in this vision was.. you.." I look at the ground for a brief moment trying to collect my thoughts.

"Why?" I ask timidly.

"I can't explain it. But your face is very vivid and evident." Alice sighs deeply and eyes me with her gorgeous honey colored eyes.

"That means it is her fault that the unknown army is coming to destroy us! I knew it from the start that you would cause immense trouble!" I finally realize why Caius is being more annoying than ever. He feels something he has never felt before. Fear.

"Stare zitto!" Alec hisses and growls protectively. "I will not allow you to talk to her this way!" I feel his arms wrap around me and tug me closer into his body that for a second I think is warmer than mine. I hide the small smile that made its way upon my face at the sight of his protectiveness and address Alice once more.
