As soon as I step through the glass doors of the warm home I feel myself being crushed by a very strong embrace. I let out a chuckle and return the favor as I hear Seth's joyful cheer.

"Oh thank God you are alright! I missed you so much!" The young wolf pulls me even closer into his chest and I thank God myself that I don't need to breathe to survive. "I was so worried! And now I'm so glad to see you!"

"I missed you too Seth." I say gently and giggle as soon as I hear a dangerous growl from behind me. Seth slowly lets go, steps further away from me and I turn around to look at the culprit. His red eyes seem even darker with anger and jealously and I notice that he can barely restrain himself. I step closer to him and gently put an arm onto his firm chest.

"Alec.. Remember what we talked about on the plane? They are my family." I say softly and he scoffs angrily. "Hey!" I playfully punch him and get a smirk in return. "You promised to play nice." His smirk grows bigger as he suddenly pulls me into his arms and breathes into my neck.

"And you, my love, promised a reward for my excellent behavior." I let out and excited laugh but sadly I am forced to push myself away from my mate.

"Not now." I laugh again. "Do you remember why we are here?" He puts and nods sadly. "Good. Now be nice and I will think about that reward." I wink at him and observe as his face suddenly changes to his stone hard one that brings chills to my body.

I follow his gaze, turn around and notice Bella and Renesmee standing near the piano. The little girl surprisingly looks exactly the same as before, but maybe a little bit taller. She smiles brightly and looks at her mother for permission. Bella nods gently and the little angles floats quickly towards me. I step forward and catch her in my arms as an angelic laugh escapes my lips. Renesmee wraps her arms around my neck and I spin her gently a few times then put her down. She gently places her soft hand onto my cheek and smiles brightly.

"I'm happy to see you too, Renesmee." I say gently.

Soon all the other family members: Esme, Rosalie and Leah also enter the room to say hello. They seem a little surprised about the number of guests, but soon understand everything as Carlisle and Edward explain the whole plan we came up in Volterra.

As always being the motherly one, Esme guides everyone upstairs and shows a few extra rooms where they will be able to get a little bit of privacy. Alec and I will be sharing the same room I used to have while I was staying with the Cullens, though Emmet warned us not to cause a lot of noise.

As soon as all of the 'moving in' problems are taken care of, all of us gather around in the living room. The sun has already set and night has covered the forest. Bella, Edward and Renesmee are not here so they must be at their home trying to put the little girl to sleep. Edward promised us to join after.
So we sit around waiting for any kind of message from either Aro and his handymen or Alice and Jasper. I think it is hollow and foolish to just sit and wait but we have nothing better to do for now. Couple of moments later Edward enters the room and Carlisle decides to break the silence and speak first.

"As you already know what kind of danger is threatening us and I believe we have to find a way how to fight them, because it is possible that we will never be able to escape them."

"I don't think we can ask this of our friends anymore, Carlisle." Esme says softly and can't help but agree with her completely. "The vision does not indicate anyone other than both of our covens. I believe we can't let them risk their lives."

"Besides, I believe that someone has a slight grudge towards both covens and not someone else. Aro, Caius and Marcus are trying to find any information on the one that might be organizing this." Edward informs the ones that haven't heard it yet.

"In my opinion, it would be better if they attacked us here rather than Volterra." I say quietly and explain myself before anyone gets angry. "Because Volterra is filled with innocent tourists and residents that have no idea about our existence and this battle might draw unwanted attention and cause gruesome numerous deaths. And here we might be able to guide the army high into the mountains where they might die of cold or maybe we could evade them as long as possible till the night ends." I receive approving nods from almost everyone.

"Then it's decided. Tomorrow, at dawn we will be going up north to survey the area and possible routes to trap the werewolves." Carlisle says what everyone was thinking and just as the golden eyes vampire opens his mouth to say something else we hear a doorbell.

"So the rest of the Volturi have arrived."
