Ajinkes POV;

It's been like a dream. My life after meeting the prince, up to this very moment. I remember last night. How I spent the night in my prince's loving embrace, and how he kept confessing his love to me.

It was purely beautiful and perfect. Today is the prince's coronation ceremony, and he would soon be crowned king of Akomojo village. I am excited for him. Excited for him, and scared for me.

It still feels all so surreal. In a few hours time, I, "The orphaned girl with bad luck. " would become the queen of this village. Oh, how I wish my grandma was still alive to see this. She would be so proud.

"And what is my beautiful wife thinking about? "The prince's husky voice speaks, and I turn to him. He has just woken up. That is why his voice has the raspy texture that I'm just discovering to love.

"She is thinking about the fact that her husband would soon become king, and she would be the queen of this massive village. She's not sure she's ready... "I reply, and an all too perfect smile splits the prince's face.

"Well, I'm sure she's ready. It's normal to feel this way. I've been preparing for this day, my entire life, and now that the day has finally arrived. I also feel like I'm not ready. "He speaks, and I smile as I stare down at him. I'm sitting beside him, a d he's laying on his side of the bed. He is so handsome and perfect. I can't believe that I got to marry him.

"You're ready. I'm sure of that. You'd be the best king this kingdom has ever had. "I reply as I run my fingers through his thick, curly hair, and he chuckles.

"Well, I might be ready to be king, but I'm not ready to let you out of this bed. "He speaks, as he wraps an arm around my waist, and my eyes widen.

"My prince, what are you doing? The maids would be here in a few minutes to get you ready. "I reply in alarm, and he pulls me closer to him.

"And so? They can wait. I just got married. I'm allowed to be busy with my wife behind locked doors. "He replies, and I feel my cheeks burn.

"Last night was the best night of my entire life. I don't mind relieving it again... "He speaks as he plants a kiss on my bare stomach and I feel flames come to life in my cheeks.

"My prince, this isn't right. What would people think of us? There are more important things to do today than keeping me in your bed. "I speak, and he chuckles.

There's suddenly a knock on the door, and I stiffen.

"Good morning, our prince and princess, we are here to get you ready for today's ceremony. "A female speaks, and I gulp as I turn back to the prince.

"Come back later. We're busy. "He yells, and my eyes nearly pop.

"Adebiyi! "I whisper yell in alarm as I hit his chest, and he gives me a look.

"Mmm. I love the way my name sounds when you call it. Call it again. "He replies, and I roll my eyes.

"Hold on. I'm coming. "I yell out to the maids, and as I make to leave the bed, he pulls me back.

"I'm serious. Call it again. "He says, and I smile.

"Adebiyi. My sweet, darling husband. My soon-to-be king. The love of my life. "I reply as I manage to wriggle out of his grip, and he smiles at me like a pleased child.

I plant a swift kiss on his lips, and head for the door. On opening it, maids pour into the room, and soon Adebiyi and I are swept up into different rooms to undergo different preparations.

*********
The ceremony had just been concluded, and I had just finished convincing Ronke to go back to Olakunle with king Jagunmolu. And much to my surprise, she agreed.
