Chapter 3: Ezra's Gone!

Hera's POV

I started the ship and started headed towards Ezra's Tower. A couple minutes later, we landed. Kanan, Zeb, Ahsoka, Sabine, and Chopper came in the cockpit when I landed with a confused look on Kanan's face.

"Uh Hera, why are you landing the ship?" he asked.

"Ezra needs help. He went to his tower behind our backs and he might get captured." I replied.

"What?! Why didn't you tell me?" he asked angrily.

"I thought you might be able to sense that he was gone." I said.

"Well I didn't. My mind was set on breaking Zeb and Chopper up." he said looking at Zeb.

"It's not my fault that rustbucket shocked me!" Zeb said putting his hands up.

Chopper made a few beeping noises that sounded like a laugh.

"He thinks it was funny" Sabine translated.

Zeb gave Chopper a cold look and cracked his knuckles.

"Okay, okay! Not now Zeb! We gotta save Ezra!" I said.

We took the three speeder bikes out from the storage room. I went with Kanan while Sabine went with Ahsoka, and Zeb took the last one. We all speeded towards Ezra's Tower at top speed.

Kanan's POV

We were able to get there quickly, but I didn't see any Imperial vehicles up at Ezra's Tower.

"Is the kid trying to prank us?" Zeb asked me.

"I don't know. You never know." I replied with a shrug.

"Where would you ever come up with that idea?" Ahsoka asked.

"Have you met Ezra?" I said.

"I thought he was like you." Ahsoka said.

I shook my head slowly.

When we got there, there was noone there. Instead there was a note taped onto the ladder that said "Under Property of the Empire"

"I haven't seen that sign before." I said. What the heck was going on? Maybe Ezra was really in trouble.

"Let's check the inside." Sabine suggested. We all climbed up the ladder one at a time. (Chopper flew) Hera pressed a button and the door opened. I was shocked to see what I was seeing. All of Ezra's things were gone. All that was left was a piece of paper on the floor. I went over to it and started reading.

"If you ever want to see your fellow rebel again, you will surrender to the Empire. Signed, Darth Vader"

"Darth Vader? Who's he?" Sabine asked.

"I have no idea." I replied. I had never heard that name in my life. He must've been a Sith Lord or something.

"We'll have to go rescue him." Hera suggested.

"But how are we gonna do that?" Zeb asked. "The Empire's got twice as many troopers guarding the cells."

Were we ever going to get Ezra back?
