Ahri wasn't kidding, she was keeping up with you the whole way to the store. You stop to turn around and look at Ahri to see her standing there, looking at the building in awe.
"It's a relatively large building for a market I know" Y/n chuckled while telling her
Y/n leans his bike against the shop side. As you grab a cart and enter, she also leaves her bike at the wall, and follows you in.
She seems a bit hesitant, but she comes up to you, while you're look through the fruits and vegetables.
"Could I push the cart?" Ahri asks a bit shy with her ears pointing inwards with a blush
"C-Cute" Y/n thought
You just shrug your shoulders hiding your thoughts, which she takes as a yes. From this point she pushes the cart with a smile as she felt included in the shopping.
Ahri wad amazed by every item she didn't know the name of.
"Why don't you go and explore" I gave a warm smile.
And Ahri skips away exploring around the store
"Y/N?" The elderly lady turns
"Miss May?" I questioned the old lady
"Good to see you again, my boy! How did the city life go?" You scratch your neck, not really knowing what or how to answer.
Before you can even answer, Ahri skips by with the cart.
"Look Y/N!" Ahri calls out before rolling down the lane
Miss May smiles "Good to see that you have found someone in life"
"She's only a visitor, we've only know each other for a day" I said with a monotone voice
"Well, boy, that's what I told my mother when I met Adam (her husband), it would be nice to see you happy, you smiled more often when you were a kid" She pinched my cheek gently
I just nodded, a smile sneaking on your face as you think about how much happiness Ahri's presence has been for a day.
"See my dear boy, that is much better" she pinches your cheek again before continuing to stock the shelves.
After you finally find Ahri in front of the sweets section and after dragging her away from the sweets, you pay for the groceries and gardening tools.
While packing the stuff into the bicycle bags you make a jokingly remark.
"First time buying groceries?"
"Yeah...", she laughs nervously
"This was my first-time going grocery-shopping, most of the time eat outwards or just get prepacked groceries delivered" Ahri suddenly all flustered

I was a bit surprised. I decided not to press any further, cause Ahri seemed to be really embarrassed about it.
On the way back, Ahri was the one leading the way, seemingly riding the bike with ease, even with the loaded bags on each bar handle
Me on the hand I struggled for a bit
"Maybe its because her DNA makes her stronger than humans?" I thought as I caught up
She suddenly stops at the peak of a hill, while getting off her bike, you follow her gaze into the distance.
Beneath you, the woodlands lay, some small blue rivers flowing through like veins of a body, some mountains topped of with snow in the distance.

The field of pure grass in front of you moving in waves as the soft winds blows by. I also got off your bike, looking over the landscape.
"It reminds me so much of home" Ahri's tail and ears lower with her voice slightly lowering
"You haven't been home in a while I'm guessing ?" I stood next to her
Anti shook her head
"Its hard to find spare time to visit, and even if I AM on vacation, most of the time the paparazzi follow in hot pursuit" She sits down and begins to talk about her daily occurrences and struggles
I sit down beside her, listening as she talks about some of the stories she had with journalists. As she finishes, she seems relieved. As if one of many demons has finally rested
"Sorry for that, Y/N, it was nice that someone listened to me for once without having some snobby responses to my problems. Thanks." Ahri gave a light smile
"No problem, we're in this to-" I said while standing up, suddenly Ahri hugged you tightly.
"I really appreciate it" she whispers while hugging you. The sky slowly turning more orange-redish as the sun sets even further
I hug Ahri as this feels like the closest we've ever been. I think I'll give this a chance...

"I think I found my new home but can I suddenly disappear from my friends and career?" How would the world react?" I thought
Not really sure what my feelings for Y/n are right now but I must make sure everything is genuine and now some sudden fling I'll regret
