laying in bed, in the comfort of each others arms, you love it, but you could definitely be doing something more involving. really, you just wanted to get out of the house.

you slightly lift your head to look at matt, who's focused on the tv that's busy playing scream. "what's your favorite place?" you ask him with a gentle smile.

he smiles, but keeps his attention on the movie. "probably the p-"

"wait!" you cut him off, covering his mouth with your hand. he looks down at you, furrowing his eyebrows. "don't tell me. take me there."

he takes your hand off his mouth and laughs, "will you take me to yours?"

you quickly get out of bed, "yes of course," you giggle. "now get up and put your shoes on."

matt amusedly rolls his eyes before getting out of his bed.

"can I open my eyes now?" you groan. your hands over your eyes as matt drives.

matt laughs, "I never told you to close your eyes, y/n."

"can I open my eyes?" you say, sarcastically irritated.

"yes, you can open your eyes."

you immediately drop your hands and look out the window. finding an easily forgotten playground, surrounded by brush and tall standing tress.

a smile peaks on your lips, "how did you find this?" you laugh lightly before getting out of the car.

matt gets out and locks eyes with you before glancing over the playground again. "me and nate found it when we were little. I don't think anyone other than us and my brothers have seen this place."

"you mean you don't bring all your girlfriends here?" you tease, nudging him with your elbow.

he smiles, "well other than them, of course. you know how many girlfriends I have, too many to keep track."

the two of you laugh before you grab matts hand, pulling him in the direction of the swings. now covered in years worth of vines and weeds.

you let go of his hand and sit on one of the swings. hesitant at first, you have no idea how old this set could be.

but the swing holds out for you. unlike the one matt just sat on. it gives out from under him, sending him to the ground.

he stays silent for a second before standing back up and making you get off your swing. "i think its time you take me to your place." he mutters, pulling you to the car.

you laugh before pressing a quick kiss to his cheek.

"cover your eyes!" you say for what feels like the billionth time. finally, matt reluctantly puts one hand over his eyes. hiding his vision, though your sure he's peaking.

by now, the sun has almost completely set, and stars are beginning to scatter across the evening sky.

your favorite place is a hill up above the city. the lights of downtown boston light up anything in sight, cars passing by with lights of their own. its a very secluded area, a bit of a drive to get up here, but its worth it.

"open," you smile, getting out of the car to be hit with a gentle breeze.

he gets out, gazing over the view. "wow." he mutters, a smile pulling at the corners of his mouth.

you walk over to where he stands, intertwining your fingers with his. "isn't it pretty?"

"its beautiful," he chuckles. turning to look at you. a small glimmer in his eyes as he leans down to press a soft kiss to your lips.

he pulls back with a smile before looking at the city again. "how do you know about this place?"

you lean your head against his shoulder, reminiscing all the fond memories from when you were a little girl. "me and my mom came here all the time until i moved out. she showed it to me when i was little, i don't know how she found it, but i'm glad she did." you happily sigh at the thought, "i love this place."

matt presses a kiss to the side of your head, "i think i love this place too."
