Napalingon siya sa pinto ng biglang may kumatok kaya naman kaagad niya 'yong pinagbuksan.
"Hija, pinapatawag ka ni Luther." Ani ng matanda. Nginitian lang niya 'yon tsaka tumango.
When she walked through Luther's personal space or his office she saw Stefan, Paris, Vlad, Abby and Marcus.
But what catched her eyes is Marcus eyes are red.
"Did you..." turo niya sa mata ni Marcus.
"Yeah, don't mind me Celeste, I can smell your blood and I'm controlling myself." Ani ni Marcus habang nakapikit at magkakrus ang braso niya.
"Then, I shall leave." Ani ni Celeste.
"No, you're staying here and that's my order!" Ani ni Luther.
Tumango tango naman siya at umupo sa sofa sa tabi ni Paris. Nginitian naman niya si Paris na ngumiti naman pabalik.
"Stefan, you'll switch my place." Ani ni Luther. Halata naman na hindi agad naintindihan iyon ni Stefan.
"I mean, you'll be the one to attend the business trip and I'll stay here and do my job." Ani ni Luther.
"Yes brother if that's what you want." Ani ni Stefan at tumango kay Luther.
"Celeste and I have to take care of something so Paris and Marcus I need you to be incharge in my office, you two know my work so I'll leave it to you." Ani pa ni Luther.
"Abby and Vladimir. I don't think I'll be able to meet Victoria since I'm going to be with Celeste. Deal with her and don't let her make stupid things while I'm gone." Ani ni Luther na tinanguan naman nilang dalawa.
"What are you planning Luther?" Tanong ni Vlad.
"For now I'm trying to keep Celeste by my side. Sorry to say this but Celeste I have to limit your actions outside the Elphinestone." Ani ni Luther.
Bigla namang napakunot noo si Luther sakanya.
"Your father is after you and since enemies can't step inside the Elphinestone, you're safe here." Ani pa ni Luther.
Napabuntong hininga siya tsaka tumango tango sa sinabi ni Luther. Naramdaman naman niya ang pag takip takip ni Abby sa balikat niya at ang paghawak ni Paris sa braso niya na para bang cinocomfort siya ng dalawa.
"Thanks guys, I'm sorry if I... If I'm giving you a hard time." Ani ni Celeste.
"It's fine Celeste, what are friends for if we are not helping each other, right?" Ani ni Vlad.
"Thanks Vlad, but I feel helpless." Ani ni Celeste.
"Your extraordinary friends got your back girl!" Ani naman ni Paris.
"Well you are a true helpless, I'm glad you know it." Ani ni Luther habang nakangisi.
"Luther!" Sabay na sabi ni stefan at Marcus.
"What? I'm just trying to state a fact." Ani ni Luther. Furthermore, everyone is giving their positive insights so I'll give negative to maintain its balance." Ani ni Luther.
"Whatever, Luther. Just shut up if you don't have anything nice to say." Ani ni Abby.
"Whatever." Ani ni Luther tsaka umupo sa swivel chair niya. "Let's have dinner later guys." Ani ni Luther.
"Speaking of dinner, dad is asking. When will you get married?" Tanong ni Paris.
"I don't know, its up to Celeste." Ani ni Luther habang nakatingin kay Celeste kaya naman kaagad siyang napayuko.
"No, I mean between you and Victoria." Ani ni Paris habang nakangisi.
Bigla namang napatingin si Celeste kay Luther at si Luther naman ang nagiwas ng tingin sakanya.
"Are you expecting me to have a two wives?" Sarkastikong sabi niya.
"No, but you're clearing everything. You should tell our parents that you're marrying Celeste and not Victoria." Ani ni Paris.
"Fine, just do it since ikaw naman ng nakaisip." Ani ni Luther.
"Okay, I'll call them to come over and join us for dinner." Nakangising sabi ni Paris.
"Hey! No! How can we enjoy our dinner!" Reklamo naman ni Vlad.
"No way! Your parents are slightly strict!" Ani naman ni Marcus.
"They are strict to boys, because they know that you want to make trouble." Ani ni Abby.
"Oh yeah? What about you and Paris aren't you doing any trouble? Like sneaking everynight to go out and hunt at the forest?" Nakangising sabi ni Marcus.
"Hey! It was Abby's idea!" Ani ni Paris.
Napatingin naman si Celeste kay stefan na natatawa lang at napapailing iling.
"You guys have a solid friendship." Nakangiting sabi ni Celeste.
"Yes of course, We grew up together that's why." Ani ni Stefan.
"How wonderful is that?" Ani ni Celeste.
"Not wonderful as you think! It was a chaos! We often get scolded by our parents when we are kids." Ani ni Vlad.
"Yep! And when we are kids Luther is really a trouble maker, like everyday!" Ani ni Marcus.
"Just me? I'm with you!" Ani ni Luther.
Tinarayan naman ni Marcus si Luther. "And Stefan is the good and bahave one." Ani ni Marcus. "He's really weird, he likes to read books and sleep!" Ani pa ni Marcus.
"Yes, He can stay up all night by just reading a book. Really boring bro!" Ani pa ni Vlad.
"At least I don't get scolded and grounded." Ani ni Stefan.
Napangiti naman siya habang pinapanood silang naguusap. "How about you Celeste, what kind of childhood do you have?" Tanong ni Abby.
"Well, I can't really remember anything, but I was in an arranged marriage situation that time. Funny right?" Ani ni Celeste.
Bigla namang silang nagulat dahil sa sinabi niya. "That wasn't a really happy childhood life, aren't I?" Ani ni Paris.
"It was, He became so close to me and we are friends not until we are seperated and after that I can't remember anything. When my parents and I move to somewhere else I didn't gain any friends that much and I only have a one and only friend. But I lost her too, uhm not really lost but we lost contact to each other because her parents moved." Ani ni Celeste.
"That was tragic." Ani ni Vlad.
"Not really- I mean yeah but I'm used to it." Ani ni Celeste.
Tinignan naman niya sina Luther na para bang na aawa sakanya.
"Why do you guys look sad?" Nakangiting tanong niya.
"It makes me want to bring back the past and change your path." Ani ni Paris.
"Its fine, not all people are always meant to be happy and that is life. We have different experiences you may experience a lot of happiness but for me its the other way around." Nakangiting sabi ni Celeste.
"Children are meant to be happy and have their memorable childhood." Ani ni Marcus.
"Its different for me, I understand the struggle of life too early and I'm learning from it. The pain will grew into something beautiful one day." Ani ni Celeste at pilit na ngumiti.
