Kanina niya pa naririnig ang usapan ni Vladimir at ng kapatid nito.
"Sis, you're such a delusional. Why can't you just accept the fact that not everything can be yours." Ani ni Vladimir.
[I don't care Vladimir! What I'm saying is why are you with that girl? Why are you helping her?! She's a danger! Because of her Elphinestone is in danger and its because of her family!] Galit ang boses ni Victoria ng sabihin niya 'yon, napabuntong hininga naman ang kapatid niyang si Vladimir.
"Fix yourself Victoria!" Inis na sabi ni Vladimir at walang sabi sabing inend call ang tawag.
Bigla naman siyang napaigtad ng makita niya si Celeste di kalayuan sa likuran niya.
"Kanina ka pa ba?" Tanong ni Vladimir.
Tumango tango lang si Celeste tsaka bahagyang naglakad palapit. "Why does she hate me so much?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Celeste.
"I'm so sorry, huwag mo na lang intindihin ang mga sinabi niya kung ano man ang mga narinig mo." Ani ni Vladimir.
"Did I do something that hurt her feelings?" Tanong ni Celeste.
Umiling iling naman si Vladimir. "No, You didn't do anything." Ani ni Vlad.
"Maybe I did... hindi ko lang siguro 'yon napansin." Malungkot na sabi ni Celeste.
"Come on don't be sad, baka mayari talaga ako nito kay Luther." Ani ni Vlad.
"Its fine Vlad, Luther wont care. If you still didn't know, Luther and I are just pretending." Ani ni Celeste.
Bigla namang natawa si Vladimir na nagpakunot ng noo kay Celeste.
"I know, but it seems so real it doesn't look like pretending." Ani ni Vlad.
"Everything is just for show, we are not really in love with each other." Ani ni Celeste.
"You're wrong, words can lie but eyes can't I can see it into your eyes everytime you look at him even you may not recognize him but the way you look at him is so different." Ani ni Vlad at kaagad namang napaiwas ng tingin si Celeste.
"Eyes can't lie Celeste." Ani ni Vladimir at tinapik tapik siya sa balikat bago ito pumasok sa loob ng tinutuluyan nilang bahay.
He's right, My eyes can't tell even if I don't recognize him even if his words and presence is the only things that I can recognize...
Maybe I'm the one pretending...
I'm forcing myself into thinking that I don't like him but the truth is I really like him a lot!
Napatingin si Celeste sa pintong pinasukan ni Vlad kaya naman sumunod siya rito at nakita niya si Lucinda.
"Come sit with us Celeste." Nakangiting sabi ni Vlad.
Tumabi siya ng upo kay Vladimir habang kaharap naman nila si Lucinda.
"Hija, kamusta naman ang kapatid kong si Miraine?" Rinig niyang tanong ng matanda.
"A-ayos lang naman po, pinapasabi niya rin na kamustahin kita para sakanya." Ani ni Celeste.
Narinig naman niya ang pag buntong hininga ng matanda na para bang may dinadala 'tong mabigat na problema.
"I missed her so much... she's my half sister, a fairy and a witch that forbid to see each other." Ani ni Lucinda. Malungkot ang tono ng boses niya ng sabihin niya 'yon.
"Everything will be alright soon ma'am I'm sure of that. Luther is doing his best to set us all free." Ani ni Vladimir. Napatingin naman siya ng banggitin ni Vlad ang pangalan ni Luther.
"Yes, I know... I hope I'll be able to see her before my life ends, that's my last wish." Malungkot na sabi ni Lucinda.
Tumingin naman si Lucinda kay Celeste at hinawakan ang kamay nito. "I know what brought you here." Ani niya.
Gamit ang kapangyarihan ni Lucinda ay siya na mismo ang kumuha ng mahiwagang bulaklak na ibinigay ni Miraine para makatulong na mag pagaling sakanya.
Nanlaki ang mata ni Celeste ng makita niyang lumulutang na ngayon ang bulaklak sa harapan niya.
"Let's start Celeste, we don't have much time left this magic only works in the day time." Ani ni Lucinda.
Kaagad namang tumayo si Celeste at sumunod kay Lucinda. "Matagal po ba ang proseso?" Tanong ni Celeste.
"It takes a lot if time Celeste, everything takes a lot of time so just be patient and wait for the result." Ani ni Lucinda.
Pumasok sila sa isang silid kung saan mayroong higaan at maraming laboratory apparatus.
"First thing first, You lay on that bed and allow me to draw your blood." Ani ni Lucinda.
"W-what?" Biglang nakaramdam ng kaba si Celeste ng marinig niya ang salitang dugo.
"M-my b-blood? N-no y-you... c-can't!" Celeste was trembling, she was anxious and scared for what she heard.
That word makes her bad memories bring back together and she's afraid that it might happen again.
"Stay calm Celeste! This wont hurt you." Pagpapakalma sakanya ni Lucinda.
"N-no! You're lying! My parents done that for so many times and... a-and it h-hurts a-alot!" Takot na sabi ni Celeste.
Nasa sulok siya ngayon habang yakap yakap ang dalawang binti niya at nakayuko dahil sa takot.
KAAGAD na pumasok sa loob ng silid si Vlad kung saan naroon sina Lucinda at Celeste. Nanlaki ang mga mata niya ng makita niya si Celeste na nakaupo sa sahig at nanginginig ang buong katawan nito.
"What happened?" Takang tanong niya kay Lucinda.
"I-I don't know... I think she got triggered when she heard blood." Ani ni Lucinda.
Tinulungan namang tumayo ni Vladimir si Celeste at inihiga sa kama at kaagad naman ding tumulong si Lucinda.
Napabuntong hininga si Vladimir at lumingon kay Lucinda. "She's traumatized... her parents is our worst enemy and they are using her blood for their thirst, that's why." Ani ni Vladimir.
"May I check up on her blood?" Tanong ni Lucinda.
"Is that a part of the process?" Tanong ni Vladimir. Tumango tango naman si Lucinda bilang pag sangayon. "If its not harmful then do it, make sure that she will be safe." Ani ni Vladimir.
"Yes, Vlad I will. You are a good friend." Nakangiting sabi ni Lucinda.
"A good friend also needs a good friend." Ani ni Vlad bago lumabas ng silid.
Ngayon ay kalmado na si Celeste kaya naman ay nilapitan siya ni Lucinda.
"Celeste, will it be okay if I test your blood for a moment? Don't worry I wont do what your parents did to you." Ani ni Lucinda.
Tumango tango naman si Celeste at huminga ng malalim bago ipikit ang mga mata niya. May ibinigay sakanyang pampatulog si Lucinda para hindi niya maramdaman ang magiging proseso.
