Ash's goal is to be a Pokemon Master and also to battle Leon, one of the greatest trainer in the world and the current World Champion while Goh's goal is to catch different kinds of Pokemon so that one day he can reach Mew and Chloe is someone who's goals are yet to be known. Together, this is the story of them and their wondrous journey through the vast world of Pokemon:~

Ash realised something.

Manually teaching Volt Tackle was far more difficult than learning it by mistake. Ash and Pikachu, the two of them have been training for hours with very little success until now.

"Pikachu, first use Thunderbolt on yourself and then Quick Attack!" Ash commanded.

The electric rodent found it a little troublesome at first, but in the end, it was able to store up electricity within its body and then use Quick Attack, which left after images of Pikachu.

Electricity coursed through Pikachu's body just like a jolt of lighting, shooting it forward only for the electric mouse to stumble and fall down miserably.

"Pikachu! Are you hurt?" Ash asked only for the rodent to shake his head.

"Guess we have our work cut out for us." Ash sighed.

Ever since his battle against the purple-haired champion, Ash was adamant about teaching his Pokemons new moves to use. The one he was focusing the most on was Pikachu relearning Volt Tackle given the raw destructive power it possessed. But as once could see, he wasn't very successful till now.

Suddenly, his phone was notified.

《Professor Cerise has an assignment for us. Come to the lab. :- From Goh》

"Guess that's enough training for today. Let's go, Pikachu." Ash motioned his starter to climb on his shoulder, before both of them made their way out of the forest, which was near Vermilion City.

They walked through Vermilion City watching the people walk in a hurry. Most of them lacked any emotion in their faces and Ash knew exactly why.

After the news that Kanto has a new champion spread like wildfire, people got even busier than usual. While Kanto was where Ash spended most of his childhood, admittedly he would have preferred to have been born in a place like Alola.

In Kanto, most people weren't that close with their Pokémons. They weren't considered a part of their family, but instead more like partners.

Many in Kanto even scoffed at the idea of Pokemon and humans living as a part of family. In a busy region like Kanto, those feelings had very little value, and Ash hated it.

He was optimistic, and from his early childhood, Pokemons were everything he could think about. For that, kids and most adults in his childhood did not like him that much.

"Huh....Looks like we have arrived here." Ash muttered, glancing over Cerise Laboratory and suppressing his thoughts. Then he smiled, and despite everything, he was pretty excited about his task as a research assistant right now.

As he entered the research facility, Chloe walked past him in a hurry. Now that he noticed, the raven haired boy really hasn't talked to Professor Cerise's daughter even once.
