The streets of the town were filled with screams and cries of the people. Chaos erupted everywhere, with people and Pokémons running for their lives. The Dynamax Pokémons continued to wreak havoc as if that was the only thing they could be commanded by their brains.
"W-What is happening?!" Chloe asked, shocked.
"W-Why are there so many D-Dynamax Pokémons in the middle of the town!" Goh exclaimed in disbelief.
However, there was something else that was present in their voice. It was fear. This was a situation where it was very much possible for them to lose their life. This was the first time Chloe was in a situation like this, while Goh might have fought Team Rocket once and helped Ash with Dreadnaw in the past, this situation is nothing compared to that.
"This isn't supposed to happen! The only power spot in this city is the gym, so how are these Pokémons outside the gym able to Dynamax!" Sonia exclaimed in disbelief.
"Help!" A man screamed as Dynamax Durant was about to stomp on him.
"Not so fast! Charizard, use Flamethrower! Pikachu zap him out with Thunderbolt!" Ash commanded in pure instincts as he brought out his Charizard.
Since both of them were high-level Pokémons and Durant's quadruple weakness to fire type attack, they were easily able to stop the rampaging Pokémon and inflict massive damage on it.
"Use Air Slash!" Ash commanded.
The white blades busted out of Charizard's wings, slamming straight into Durant's head as it slid back in pain.
"T-Thanks!" The man exclaimed as he ran for his life.
Angrily, Durant retaliated with Max SteelSpike as metal spikes emerged from the ground.
"As if I am going to let you do that!" Ash exclaimed. "Thunderbolt Pikachu! Charizard Flamethrower! Do it once again!"
The two Pokémons perfectly executed the attacks, striking the Max-SteelSpike and surprisingly overpowering it. Their combo attack then struck Durant, knocking it out. This led to Durant reverting to its normal size and looking everywhere in confusion. It had no idea what was happening.
BOOM!
The group alongside Ash's Charizard and Pikachu turned to see a Scolipede, which had destroyed a nearby house. Then Ash looked in every direction of the city, witnessing the surroundings of the city. The Dynamax Pokémons were causing mass destruction in the city and everywhere people were running for their lives.
"Tch..I can't...I can't just watch like this! Charizard, come here!" Ash commanded as the flame Pokémon landed in front of him. Ash and Pikachu then both hopped on Charizard's back. Charizard understood what its trainer was going to do, so it readied itself to fly.
