Sometimes, just catching a Pokémon doesn't mean it will instantly start obeying you.

That's something Goh had to learn the hard way with his newest capture, Obstagoon.

"Why does it have to happen to me?!" Goh muttered in a low defeated voice. He was both annoyed and sad.

The aspiring trainer who dreamed of catching Mew was feeding his Pokémons like he usually does. Usually, there is little to no problem with this task, as all of Goh's Pokémons were obedient and well-behaved for him to easily perform his job. However, this time, there was a problem.

After the 'Dynamax Incident', this was the first time Goh brought the blocking Pokémon out of its Poké-ball. The skinny boy had to learn it the hard way that the blocking Pokémon was extremely distrustful towards Goh or any other human. It wouldn't let any other Pokémon come near him. It appeared that the 'Dynamax Incident' has left a scar on him.

Goh's Scyther and Scorbunny growled in unison, not liking the aggression the blocking Pokémon showed towards their trainer. In response, the said Pokémon also growled towards them. Obstagoon wasn't afraid of proving his strength and showing these inferior Pokémons their place, afterall it was the strongest Pokémon present there. Sensing that there could be a possible fight, Goh tried to stop them.

"H-Hey... don't fight now, you three..." Goh pleaded with them. Scorbunny and Scyther reluctantly lowered their aggression, but Obstagoon was still wary of them and continued showing aggression. It was obvious that Obstagoon didn't trust Goh at all.

"H-Hey... I know you are scared... But I am just trying... to help you out....It's alright, let me help ya.." Goh said in a low and gentle tone as he slowly tried to get close to Obstagoon. Obstagoon snapped at this and attempted to hit Goh with a Night Slash. Instinctively, Scyther blocked the attack with Slash and gave the blocking Pokémon a death glare. Scorbunny followed his comrade, inflicting damage on Obstagoon with a Double Kick. The quad effective attack forced the behemoth to take some steps back, as Obstagoon groaned in pain.

Goh held his breath for a moment. His eyes widened in disbelief. A Pokémon just tried to attack him. Sure, it wasn't something new to him, but this time, it was different. The Pokémon belonged to him. Goh's very own Pokémon tried to attack him.

"O-Obstagoon..." Goh muttered in disbelief. The blocking Pokémon growled hatefully. He tried to lunge on him once again, but luckily Goh recalled him in time. Scyther sighed in relief while Scorbunny gave Goh a worried look. Goh looked very disturbed, as he clenched the Poké-Ball while breathing heavily in fear.

'O-Obstagoon...'

"Goh!"

The young researcher was snapped back to reality before he could think about it anymore. He turned his body to see that it was his newest colleague who had called him.....Sonia.

"Professor Cerise is calling us! He said it's time for our next assignment!" Sonia exclaimed happily before noticing Goh's sour look. "Did something happen?"

"Wha...No...No..Not at all! I just got a little tired after feeding the Pokémons! That's all!" Goh lied, hoping that Sonia would buy his lie. Luckily, the orange-haired woman didn't catch his lie, so she told him to come quickly to meet the professor. With a nod, Goh ran towards the direction with Scyther and Scoorbunny following him. Once they entered the room, they saw Professor Cerise, Wren, Crysa, and Sonia were present there.
