"I love you.." I kissed the top of his head, hoping he would feel relaxed and safe in my arms..

Hopefully, he cuddled back with me while murmuring, "I love you too..."

My heart always skips a beat whenever he says that..

"Please don't worry.." I sighed while rubbing his back in a soothing manner, "You are safe with me, love.."

"Alex.." He looked up at me, his voice was quieter than usual.

"Yes?" I gently stroked his hair and he closed his eyes while whispering, "Aiden is a vampire.."

"A 𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 vampire." I kissed his nose gently and he chuckled, "Yeah."

"But then why doesn't that motherfucker die in the sunlight?" I sighed while petting his hair gently.

"He's..a different kind of vampire.. His powers don't work in the sunlight and he feels mild discomfort too.. That's all.." He looked down and I kissed his forehead gently, "I love you, okay?"

He nodded while looking down, "I love you too.."

"Do you really?" I teased while quickly pulling him on my lap, in order to cheer him up.

"Mhm~" he leaned against me and whispered, "Am I heavy?"

"Very very light, love." I chuckled and kissed his cheek while he wrapped his arms around my neck and said, "Alex.. about.." he lowered his gaze and started to continue about "his..past.."
