Chapter 18

Ezra's POV:

I opened my eyes in the morning and I felt a small body hugging me, I remembered last night when Aurora came to me and she couldn't sleep, yet she fell asleep quickly in my lap.

I looked at her peaceful face for a while, then I felt her movements that signaled that she had woken up, so I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep.

"Ezra?" she murmured with her sleepy voice.

I felt her hand move through my hair and touch my jaw, very, very slowly.

"Am I really that attractive?" I grinned opening my eyes.

she quickly removed her hand then looked away.

"I-uhm- I was just making sure you're sleeping."

"Yes, of course. Good morning amor."

"Good morning, so uhm- I'll just go back to my room before Casper wakes up." she ran away without letting me say another word.

i smiled then went to have a quick shower and changed my clothes.

"Aurora? Are you ready?" i shouted from the kitchen.

I don't know why this girl is always late.

"Just a second!" i heard her yelling.

"Your sister will delay me from my work. Go get her." I looked at Casper.

"Go get her yourself R, I'm busy here."

"Busy filling your fucking mouth with food." i rolled my eyes.

fuck this girl.

what the hell is she doing.

Seeing her finally coming down the stairs trying to put on her earring made me catch her hand and put her in the car.

"What the hell took you so long?" I started the engine and drove to her school quickly.

"How do you think I look pretty all time? Makeup requires time Ezra." she scoffed.

"Well, you don't need makeup to look pretty amor."

"Wow, how you manage to change personalities so fast." she laughed.

"it's because of you. You make me loose control over silly things amor, and I can't resist." i held her hand in mine.

I was interrupted by the sound of the phone ringing, I answered quickly and it was one of my team.

"Sí?"

"Jefe, los hemos atrapado, pero estamos bajo ataque". (Boss we've catch them but we're under attack.)

"¿Qué? ¿Estás seguro de que es él?" (What? are you sure it's him?)

"Sí señor, debería venir a la taberna. El equipo ha quedado atrapado en un lugar desierto ." (Yes sir, you should come to the tavern. The team has been trapped in a deserted place)

"Maldita sea, dame la dirección, voy en camino". (Fuck, give me the address, I'm on my way)

Fuck, no, not now, Aurora's with me. i can't put her in danger but I can't drive her anywhere either.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

I'll have to take her with me.

My character cooled back and ignored her questions all the way.

I got the address and headed towards it quickly. I stopped just a few miles before the address and got out of the car.

"You stay here and don't move, I'll be right back, don't get out of the car and lock it from the inside."
