"Chris?"

"Lora? Did I wake you?" Chris asked on them opposite end of the phone.

"No I just got out the shower what's up?"

"I can't sleep."

"How come?"

"I don't know I just cant and its pissing me off cause I'm really fucking tired."

"Chris."

"Hm?"

"Get your shoes on I'll be there in 20 minutes."

"But-" Chris started.

"No but's just get your shoes on and I'll be right over," Alora said before hanging up the call.

Quite frankly Alora didn't think she'd be able to fall asleep herself, no matter how heavy her eyes felt. So she grabbed her keys and ran down to the garage to go get Chris. LA was mildly quiet. You could only assume that the people awake and driving at this time were on their way to work or maybe they were in the same situation as Alora. Driving to go pick up the boy she might as well be half in love with at ungodly hours of the night to do whatever the fuck could come to mind.

Within the last three weeks Alora found her mind to be consumed with Chris. Every single aspect of him haunted her no matter what she was doing. The worst part was that Alora didn't mind it. She loved it. And she adored Chris. Wholeheartedly adored him.

Not too long later Alora was in front of the Sturniolo house watching and laughing as she witnessed Chris tiptoe and sprint out of the house as if he had just committed robbery.

"Well Chris care to explain why you just came out of your house acting like you were a 16 year old girl sneaking out to go see her secret boyfriend?" Alora asked while still laughing.

"Cause that's almost exactly what I'm doing," Chris smiled as Alora's face dropped to a dark shade of red. "Well where we off to?"

"I have no clue. I was kinda hoping you'd have an idea," Alora replied as she pulled away from his house.

"I'm drawing blanks here."

"Do you wanna just go back to my place? We could watch a movie or some bullshit," Alora put the idea out there.

"I don't wanna have to drag you back out of the house to bring me home though."

"I don't mind. Either I can bring you home or you can sleepover if you want."

"You sure?" Chris questioned.

"Yes Chris I'm sure."

The rest of the car ride was filled with silence but not that suffocating silence, more so a comfortable silence that made the air feel light. A kind of silence that the duo had grown to love. "Hey Lora?" Chris piped breaking the silence.

"Hm," She mumbled back to him.

"How are you?" Chris's question was so simple yet it still managed to catch Alora completely off guard.

"What do you mean?" Her response was stupid she knew it but she already it put it out there for him to hear so what does it matter.

"I mean how are you? You know I have seen you everyday for the last month yet I haven't asked since maybe the second day of knowing you."

"I'm good Chris. Like I am genuinely doing good."

"Why?"

"I think I've finally found a place for myself. I have good people surrounding me. I'm working on song and will probably drop an album in the next few months. I had song break a few records. My songs are reaching more people. Life is good and I can say that with full confidence."
