Chapter 16

𝑯𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒂𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒅!

As Taehyung's car disappeared down the street, Jungkook's smile faded. He watched until it was out of sight, then turned and headed back into the house. He couldn't help but feel a sense of emptiness knowing that Taehyung wouldn't be with him all day.

He knows that Alaya and Mrs. Kim are here for him, and they'll make sure he doesn't feel alone. But with Taehyung gone, he's not ready to face being home just yet. He's not quite prepared to deal with the household on his own.

"Jungkookie!! Come on, let's finish your breakfast" Alaya chirped making Jungkook's smile to spread over his face again, shooking his thoughts for a brief moment he came back at dining table

"So what do you think, you will do today?" Excited voice of Alaya resonated in the room while Jungkook smiled and sat onto the chair, Mrs Kim just smiled looking at the due

"I-i don't know, is there anything I need to do" Jungkook was a bit ashamed knowing he don't know anything about household work

"There is nothing certain, but if you want you can make some dessert or whatever you want, you can do" Mrs Kim smiled assuring, she knows Jungkook knows nothing, and for sure they are comfortable with it

"Some d-dessert" Jungkook was unsure at his words, he Just know how to write dessert or eat them, making is not his cookie

"Come on, brother in law, we can do this" Alaya chirped again, her voice came so assured that for a moment Jungkook forgot any worry of not knowing anything

"Yes, you guys can, Alaya is here to help you, well she herself don't know anything" Mrs Kim chuckled while Alaya showed an offended look, she was pouting making Jungkook to look at her in awe

"If I don't know anything, then you can help us mother, and of course we can do it without your help too, aren't you agree with me kookiee" Jungkook for a sec forgot how to breath, was he really agree on having kitchen all alone for two person who don't have any idea about cooking

Well looking at the determined look of his sister in law he nodded nonetheless

"Yeahh!! See my kookie is with me, now we will defeat you" Alaya said challenging to Mrs Kim

"For sure you guys can" there was a mockery in Mrs Kim's tone which for obvious reasons didn't go unnoticed by the due

"Of course we can, so it's decided, we will make some dessert today, and at the meantime kookie you can rest" Alaya said being all excited, Mrs Kim shook her head while Jungkook just smiled looking at them

After having breakfast Jungkook left for his room, of course he offered a hand as dishwasher but for obvious reasons got denied by Mrs Kim, there are plenty of workers to do the chores

Coming in their bedroom, the light smile on his face faded as he memories of their night or playful banters started to play back in his mind, he is missing his husband and all he wants to do is to run in his warm embrace

Jungkook decided to tidy his room a bit, he arranged some minor things and then hang Taehyung's clothes which came back from laundry in his wardrobe, the sweet musky scent of his husband coming from the wardrobe was making his mind dizzy

World is so cruel, keeping his hubby away from him when all the little creature needs is him with him!

"I should stop simping over my own man" Jungkook chuckled at his own words while a red hue appeared over his cheeks saying Taehyung as his own man

"Wow, I never imagined I could be so head over heels for someone like this." Chuckling again he closed the wardrobe and came towards the balcony, it was a cozy day, even it is the 12:30 in the morning but still the sun wasn't approaching over the city so soothingly indicating the welcome of winters, the wind was chilly with a hint of refreshing particles

There was sure a plenty of time for his husband to be back but still all he wants is to be with him, "I wish there was a way to stay with you all the time" he knows that he was being overwhelmed, but still the thought of having your beloved with you all the time was a refreshing start in your daily life

And that's how Jungkook spend his whole day missing his partner here and there

"Kookie noo!! Don't add sugar yet" Alaya shouted on top of her lungs to prevent his brother in law from adding sugar in the boiling water where he can't just understand; when we have to add sugar in the dish then why does it matter if we add it later or earlier

"Then what should I do now" a raven haired boy covered in flour: his cheeks having marks of flour, his hairs having some honey which he needs to add in the water but added in his hair accidentally his apron covered all in flour and with doe eyes he was wondering what even on the earth he is doing, asked the girl not so in different condition from him

"Can you mincing some nuts until then I will grind the boiled rice" she asked hoping Jungkook knows how to chop nuts

"Of course I can" Jungkook exclaimed, making Alaya all smiley while Mrs Kim was just staring at both on them from afar, she just can't risk her precious life from going there

Jungkook took some nuts and moved towards the cabin which have all the chopping or cutting utensils

Seeing a good number of knives Jungkook couldn't help but became confuse, why on the earth people needs this much knives

"Alaya" he politely called the girl who was busy in putting the boiled rice in grinder

"Which knife I should use?" Jungkook asked biting his nails

"Kook, you need a nut chopper not a knife" she sighed putting the grinder over the machine

Jungkook felt a bit embarrassed for the nth time from the moment they both entered in the kitchen, Alaya knows more than him, okay she also don't know what she is doing, but atleast she knows we need a nut chopper for mincing the nuts not a knife

Jungkook and Alaya was still boxing with the things in the kitchen while Mrs Kim was having her good time in living room

"I am home" she heard Taehyung's voice and got up with a smile

"How was your day son" she came towards him with a smile who mirrored the expressions

"It was all fine mom" he said, his eyes roaming around the house maybe looking for a certain someone making Mrs Kim smile

"He is in kitchen" she said making taehyung's eyes go wide

"Mom! Why he is in kitchen, if you want we can hire a cook, you don't have to ask from Jungkook to handle the kitchen" Taehyung Exclaimed feeling a bit frustrated, how can she let Jungkook work in kitchen, when they all know he knows nothing about it, and no matter he knows or no, he just can't let his precious soul to work

"Calm down tiger! -she chuckled- he and Alaya are just making dessert for some fun, and don't worry I am not lettuce your precious wife to work" Taehyung felt a bit embarrassed at his sudden outburst

"Am sorry mom, I didn't meant it in this way" he said scratching the back of his neck

"Yeah yeah I know, go freshen up then we can have our dinner" she smiled while taehyung nodded

Before heading towards his room he thought to have a glimpse of his pure soul, thinking about him he moved towards the kitchen and saw the most unexpected yet cute scene

Jungkook was now all covered in flour having a nut chopper in his hand while Alaya was busy wiping of the floor some liquid stuff

"What is happening here" hearing taehyung's voice Jungkook turned, his wide Bambi eyes with a concerned look wiped in a big grin seeing the person he was missing from the moment he left

"Hubby" he exclaimed leaving the chopper onto the floor, instantly engulfing Taehyung in his embrace who putted his arms around his waist not Minding the dirt over his small body

"I missed you" Jungkook said Pouting while nuzzling his face In Taehyung's crook of neck

Taehyung smiled
