Gym class

Oliver's Pov 

I wake up at 6 am for this stupid ass student council thing Ms Perry forced me into. Archie is collecting me at 6.30 so we can collect his girlfriend and her friend. 

Yesterday after the student council meeting I went straight to the football field to do the session I missed out on. It was fitness. I ran up and down the football field too many times to count.

 I'm the captain of the Senior football team. 

I take being the captain really seriously.

I have always known I'm not very good in school so when I found out I was in any way decent at football I did everything I could to be the best I could possibly be. My dad has always been my inspiration. 

Him and my mum had me when they were 17. I spent lots of my childhood watching his college games. He used to play football at a really high level until he got a really bad hamstring injury that just never fully recovered. He is a police man now. 

He takes me to any extra session I need to do and he always knows the right thing to say after a game or a bad training session. 

I hear a car horn beeping. It's Archie. 

I run downstairs and get in the back.According to Archie the front is reserved for his girlfriend. 

Dickhead. 

Eleni's Pov 

I wake up and I'm already shaking. Oh dear. When I have a day where my anxiety is bad I can't stop shaking and I throw up sometimes. It's really hard. 

I get into my uniform and slick back my hair into a ponytail. I put all my things into my bag and take some medicine to try stop me from getting sick in school. I then sit on the couch and wait for my lift to arrive. 

I hear a knock on the door and can already tell it's Carmen. I open the door and she runs straight past me into my house and grabs Muffin. 

Half the time I think the only reason Carmen actually knocks on the door instead of waiting in the car and beeping the horn is so that she can see Muffin. I don't blame her though. 

Archie starts beeping the car and that's when we know we have been inside for too long. Yikes. We run out and get in the car. I get in only to by met by the grumpy face of Oliver Matthews. He doesn't even look in my direction but I don't take any notice. I'm sure he is just as tired as I am. 

My legs is bouncing up and down a million miles a minute. Oliver just looks over occasionally with a concerned expression but doesn't say a single word. 

"Are you excited for the meeting" I say hoping I will receive a response from Oliver for once.  

"Nope" is the only response. 

"Well I  guess you probably don't know what to expect considering you just joined but it's actually really fun, I feel like you will enjoy it, I know I do I mean I have been doing it for 3 years now". 

No response. 

Carmen looks back giving me a sympathetic look. He probably doesn't like me and I guess that's fine too. 

Archie pulls into a parking space just by the school sports hall. 

Just as I go to stand out of the car my vision goes blurry and my knees buckle underneath me. I manage just to catch myself without anyone noticing. This is gonna be a very long day. 

The four of as walk side by side to the library where the meeting is going to be held. For one of the first times in my life I don't say a word. Not a single word.
