Eleni's Pov
I am met with the unnerving sight of two familiar faces.
My mother
And her boyfriend
The entire house has been trashed.
Drinks everywhere.
The sickening smell of smoke wafting around the house.
There they sit.
Their eyes dart straight over in my direction.
He sits up and rises from where he was sitting.
I can't move.
My heart is beating a million miles an hour and I begin to shake.
Even if I wanted to beg, beg him not to hurt me, tell him that I'd do anything to stop him from what he was going to do, the words wouldn't come out.
I just stand there.
When he reaches me he grabs me by the neck slamming my up against the door I just entered. I immediately feel dizzy. My eyes begin to flutter.
His grip still on my neck he uses the fact that I can't move to hit me.
He hits me over
And over
And over
And over
And ove
And ov
And o
And
An
A
Until I can't keep my eyes open for any longer .
I can feel the intolerable feeling of blood dripping.
He lets me drop to the floor.
As I'm lying there I wish he would have just hit me really hard once so I wouldn't have to feel the pain.
Instead he hits and kicks my sides, my legs, my arms, my neck and stomach so it's just enough to leave me in unbearable pain but not enough to knock me out.
The ability to understand quite how long he has been doing this for left me a long time ago so I lie there helplessly hoping he will stop.
Hands still shaking
Blood still dripping
Heart still pounding
And then just as my eyes had my mind starts to get foggy. Thoughts can't be articulated. Feelings become numb and then I drift off ......
When my eyes start to open.
They are gone.
The pain hits me.
I don't move.
I can't.
Beside me holding my hand is Carmen, the utmost distain apparent on her face.
The second she sees my eyes looking back at her she breathes out.
"Elle oh my god" she says crying uncontrollably.
"Don't worry the ambulance is on the way" "I called Oliver and Archie"
I just nod. Words won't come out.
