Arth's pov:
I learnt from Aryan that Gill had scored a century yesterday. I was just waiting for my butterfly to arrive and give her reaction. Lo, naam liya aur shaitan haazir. Jiya entered the room saying," Aryan bhaiiiiii, ab kuch to bolo na, kyu, bolti band ho gayi?" She was looking so freaking adorable that i could kiss her at this very moment. Control, Burj Khalifa. As I'm a prefect, this week was my duty week and for the duty, i won't be in the assembly. I called Ansh to a side and as i summoned him, he said," Secret agent Ansh, reporting on duty sir!" " Ha ha, aur style maar le," I replied. I further continued," today is my prefect duty and I guess you know the drill". He nodded and left for the assembly while I left for my duty.
Jiya's pov:
I felt really light today as no one could speak to me about Gill's downfall. Mahhh mannnn made a century. Well, time passed and we had to go attend the assembly. We assembled in lines and witnessed the prize distribution. I and Bhakti always have a bet on the houses. I'm a Lily and she's a daffodil. P.s (fun fact) Arth's also a Lily. So, when the students get the prize, their houses are announced too. Today seems to be my lucky day. Lily has won like 5 medals atleast and daffodil- 0. Ansh was standing besides us and he chuckled every time I counted a score. He was like, keeping us entertained. Rest of the day went well as expected. 😄
