Lauren's POV

The second we walked in the house and I locked eyes with him I knew things were about to be a shit show but I thought because we would have to hide the fact we knew each other from gabe not because he would throw a bitch fit for lying and treating him how I would treat any other one night stand like what the hell! The rest of the night I stayed in my room and this morning I've done the same until gabe told me I was on my own as they all had class and practice today so I knew I was safe to call destini without anyone overhearing the call
Destini- hey girl how's it going
L- it's a problem so far
Des- meaning
L- meaning cole is gabes other roommate
Des- like the same cole from the last party
L- that would be the one
Des- ooo maybe this is gods way of saying the connection you two had that night is too strong to be just one night
L- too bad he's an ass
Des- what happened
I filled her in on everything that was said last night and the looks he had when we first locked eyes.
Des- weird
L- I know gabes suspicious of it all I don't want to lie to him about it all but how do I go about telling him the truth
Des- you just gotta do it cause if he's suspicious let's be honest he's going to get the answers one way or another and wouldn't you rather be the one telling him what happened over cole
L- maybe
Des- if you tell him you're able to maybe leave out how far it went with Cole you could say you two met at a party and you kissed but you lied about your name which is what caused his reactions
L- that could work I just got to hope cole doesn't beat me to it since they're going to all be gone today they all have class then practice

We talked a little more then the bell rang cause she was at lunch the whole time we talked so she had to go. I sighed and did my school work then when I was all done I decided to go out and walk around see what's near so I slid my converse on and made sure I had my phone and everything and headed out. We weren't far from their campus so there was lots of food places around and coffee spots and such so I decided to stop at Starbucks and get a drink to ease my mind then I kept walking around. I didn't know how long I had been walking for but I did get pretty far away and thankfully I was able to retrace my steps and make it back home but it was a struggle and when i walked inside I was faced with 6 eyes locked on me and I was terrified to be honest
Guys- where the hell were you
L- I went out to explore what's around
G- and you didn't think to leave a note
Dal- a text
C- literally anything at all
L- I didn't think I was going to be gone this long
C- what if something happened to you
Dal- or you got lost
G- im guessing you don't have your phone since you never answered any calls so what if those things happened
L- I do have my phone but apparently it's on silent cause I didn't know you called and I almost got lost if were being honest but I was able to retrace my steps
Dal- you damn near gave us all a heart attack coming home to see you gone
L- I'm sorry
G- it's fine just go to your room for now
L- ok
I hurried away and went in my room like he said to do and honestly cole looked genuinely concerned and worried gahhh this man is so confusing!
