From one night stand to happily ever after

It's like all I did was blink and the day was here. I took a hot shower this morning doing my best to try to relax and prepare for the day ahead of me but it wasn't working. I sighed and put on my black dress and black wedges . I curled my hair then put it in a side pony and put some lipstick on not bothering to put any eye makeup on and I headed out to meet up with the guys as the Cole and Dalton were coming for moral support and thankfully destini would be there too because I miss her and well I need girl talk because things haven't gotten easier on trying to figure out what to do. Gabe didn't trust himself enough to drive and things appear rocky between cole and him still so cole drove to make sure they weren't stuck next to each other in the back of the car. The closer we got to the cemetery the more it was becoming harder to breathe and Cole knew of course he knew he seems to know every thought without even looking at me proving the connection we have. He rubbed my knee trying to help me relax a little and I know gabe wanted to say something I could feel the glare as soon as cole started touching me but he knew better then to try and start drama today. When we got out me and gabe talked with the people running the service and with the insurance people and her old nurse then we were finally able to go back and talk with whoever we wanted and just in time for destini to show up. She ran over to me and we hugged each other as tight as possible
Des- I've missed you
L- I've missed you too I'm sorry I've been so quiet lately it's just been a roller coaster lately
Des- what do you mean
L- boy issues
Des- like with Cole are you guys still arguing
L- no we're better he's sweet too sweet I think sometimes but he is part of it there's also another guy and gabe plays a part in it all as well
Des- oh shit
L- I'll give you the whole rundown after we leave here
Des- sounds good
She hugged me again then we walked over to the guys so she could say hi to gabe and offer him her condolences . We were only over there a few minutes before it was time to start so we walked over to sit down Cole's hand was on the small of my back helping guide me but I think to also try and help me relax before it started because the slightest touch from him has a magical effect and works as well as it can to calm me down so I gotta say I was bummed he wasn't sitting next to me instead he was on the other side of Dalton while I was between gabe and destini . I was crying my eyes out practically the whole service so I barely know what was said . Me and gabe got one last look at her and one last chance to say goodbye before they lowered her into the ground and I literally felt sick to my stomach from the heart break and gabe did his best to hold me and walk us back to our spot . As soon as the service was done we all headed to our house for a get together and try to get through the day together with other family and friends. Gabe set it up for there to be catering from her favorite restaurant. I was sitting at a table with Destini just trying to stop crying for a couple minutes at least and she was helping me through it when Cole came over and sat next to me checking on me wanting to know if I wanted food or anything saying he would grab it for me but with how sick I was feeling I knew food wouldn't be wise so I declined the offer he looked worried but said ok giving me a long hug before getting up saying he would be back to check on me again in a bit which made me smile
Destini- girl
L- I told you I told you he's too sweet sometimes
Des- so can I know the story of what all is going on now
L- sure just please be on the lookout for him cause I don't need him popping up mid conversation
Des- haha ok
I told her about my evil plan at the one game and how it caused a player on the opposing team to hit on me and due to it rattling cole I went for it. I then told her about the slump cole was in after that how it even affected how he played to me talking to him and fixing things. Just as I was going to get to the eventful night she stopped me saying he was coming over
C- I know you said you were good but I at least got you a Shirley temple to enjoy I added extra cherries this way we can maybe get at least some kind of food in you
L- thank you cole that was very sweet
C- anything for you
He rubbed my shoulders a little then went over to Dalton as gabe was talking with one of our cousins
Des- oh he's got it bad
L- I knowww
Des- ok back to story time
I told her about the last game and how David acted and how cole acted that night to how we ended up making out on the counter that gabe caught and him and Cole fought that night and still haven't made up . I told her I don't know what to do I want to be with Cole but I'm still confused about David and if gabe doesn't allow it it's only going to keep bringing trouble
Des- why won't gabe let you two be I mean everyone can clearly see he's got it bad and anyone catching you looking at him can see how you got it bad for him as well
L- I do girl I had it bad the first night but nothing happened cause we knew it wouldn't work but now now I feel we have a chance but what do I do
Des- you kick the other guy to the curb you sit down with gabe and explain how you feel about Cole and tell him to explain why he has a problem with it and then you go to cole and screw your brains out
L- oh my goodness des
Des- don't act like it's not a great idea
L- haha im not
We kept talking and she had me laughing and cheered up for sure and I snacked on the cherries in my drink feeling my heart swell more that he did this and decided destini is right it's time to get rid of David and be with Cole whether gabe likes it or not. Throughout the day cole would continue to check on me and I eventually did eat which I could tell put him at ease and as the day came to an end and people left the guys all hung out with us. Cole sat next to me and sat close enough to wrap his arm around me and he let me rest my legs over his lap which made me cozy from his body heat and I was getting sleepy quickly
G- sis why don't you girls head up to your room before you fall asleep out here and on him
I didn't want to get up but I knew if I argued things would just get worse so I rolled my eyes and released myself from cole long enough to say goodnight to gabe and Dalton giving them hugs then I went back to cole and did the same but hugging him longer than the others simply enjoying being in his arms but I did pull away and we went to my room since destini was staying the night
Des- so even sitting across from you two seeing the emotions in your eyes he still won't allow it
L- nope but I don't care cole is going to be mine if it's the last thing I do
