To me, Says God
That I didn't get what I asked for
Because I deserved better.
But neither did I want better nor
Anything significant
I asked for him and only him
Was that so much to offer?
To me, Says God
"Oh my child, oh innocent,
Why do you seek destruction?
You see what's imminent
Yet you carry such impulsion,
All to rejoice in
tasting his poison?".
I say,
Oh God, oh almighty
I face the consequences of the choices made
by me.
I chose him, his poison,
and that I shall rejoice in
Ever so happily, I shall always abide him.
To me, Says God,
"I've a heaven inbuilt
in your name,
waiting for you to step in".
"If only you leave this lane.
"As such innane and utterly mundane
a life For you,
was never meant".
I say,
Oh God, oh all mighty,
Your heaven, your paradise,
I shall hate and dispise,
All I would yearn is,
Being by his side
So, help me find my way, back to him
And let this be forever, never end.
It's my last wish for you to attend.
