Expectations

They want a woman who's reliable
A woman so luscious
A woman who's pliable
and also cooks delicious

They want a man who's buff
A man who's Rich.
Who buys them stuff
they put their finger on which.

They want a child that's precocious
one who's honest, does nothing underhand
for knowledge who's voracious
who agrees to his parent's every demand

They want people to know
what they're expecting.
They want everything to go
like they're directing.

But How can one know what you're expecting
While expectations are in your mind.
How does one know what you're thinking
when your mere thoughts ain't affined.

Then why not for a moment
keep your expectations aside.
Why not let the people be cognizant
of what you really strive
Why not settle in what your loved one may provide
As in the end, expecting something just kills the vibe
