God

Everyone just wants
someone to blame
someone to complain
for all their wrong doings
for all their pain

Since childhood,
it's all fixed in our brains,
god is in everything you see, touch, hear
and perceive through your senses

So, why do we search god
in statues and picture frames?
Why do we believe these
rites and rituals inane?

Who is this god
that denies you in your periods?
Who is this god
that cares for your riches?

As a child, being told
that we all are god's little one.
Well, I don't remember being tolled
For my father's affection.

A prayer ain't needed to be said
by a child to get breastfed?!
Then why is god's child crying
for a mere loft of bread?

I believe not in a God
that could be broken into pieces
I believe not in a God
that makes me dread his prowess.

I belive in a god who's generous
Someone I could look forward to.
Not a deity making demands numerous
for making my wishes true.
