Author's POV ~

The next morning, everyone got ready to go back to Chennai. After carrying out necessary formalities, everyone headed towards the station in a bus.

The ride back to the station was pretty silent as everyone was too tired due to the activities from the last 3 days.

After reaching the station, a final headcount was taken and the journey back to Chennai began.

Everyone was reminiscing about the fun moments they had spent in the past 3 days. Raghav who was extremely enthusiastic amongst everyone was fast asleep. Prisha, Reva, Anuv, Aarav and Swati were busy sharing the photos while Sid and Siya were busy having their movie marathon.

"So basically, she gets nightmares of missing a train? What rubbish, aise nightmares kisey aate hai?" Sid asked.

"Shut up," Siya said, munching on the chips.

"Siya, this is illogical," he said.

"Sid, jaise pyaar logic dekh ke nahi kiya jaata waise hi rom-coms mein bhi logic nahi dhundte," she said.

[Just as love is not done looking for logic, similarly we don't look for logic in rom-coms too.]

"Now watch the movie quietly," she said, stuffing chips in his mouth.

"Okay boss," he said and they focused on watching Siya's favourite rom-coms.

Three movies later, Sid said, "Siya, I promise I'll watch all your favourite rom-coms but not right now. Please, let's do something else."

Siya let out a muffled laugh and said, "Already begging huh? Not bad."

"Stop teasing me," he said with a pout and she burst out laughing.

"You look cute with that pout," she said.

"I look anything but cute. People call me handsome, hot and sexy too," he said.

"Oh right. You don't look cute. You are cute," she said, stressing on the word 'are'. He fake-glared at her but her laugh made that fake anger vanish away.

"Okay okay, no more movies. Let's talk," Siya said.

"Yeah, that's better," he said.

"So, how was the trip?" she asked.

"For me, it was perfect!" He said.

"Same same," she said and they laughed.

They talked about all the funny and memorable moments of the trip. A while later Siya finally decided to voice out her inner turmoil.

"Accha suno, can I ask you something?" She asked.

"Yes- wait. Are you going to ask something like Swati? I'm-" he was cut off by Siya.

"No! Just listen to me," she said.

"Okay, ask."

"Have you ever noticed Maya? I feel like she kinda likes you. And she said she would like to date you during the game of Truth or Dare," she said.

"I don't know. She's just a family friend to me," he said.

"Yes but she is pretty, any man would fall for her," Siya said.

"Maybe," he said.

"Anyways, now go to sleep. We'll watch your favourite rom-coms tomorrow," he said and she smiled.

"Goodnight," he said and left for his berth.

Siya was about to go to sleep when she noticed that Sid had forgotten his phone in her berth. She quickly got up and made her way towards his berth.

She was halfway through the train's hallway but she stood still when she saw Maya clinging on to Sid, in a very compromising position.

Sid's POV ~

I was going back to my berth when I saw Maya near my berth.

"Hi Siddhant, where are you coming from?" she asked.

"I was with my friends," I said, trying not to engage myself much in a conversation with her.

To be honest, I don't like the way she clings to me and it's better to maintain a distance from her.

"Oh, I wasn't able to sleep. So I thought I'd just roam around and see if anyone is up. I assume you are free, how about we chat for a while?" she said.

"I'm tired. Go to the girls' berth. They might still be up. You might get some company there," I politely rejected the offer and advised her to hang out with the girls.

"Oh alright. No problem. I'll go," she said and was going back but her leg twisted and she was about to fall but I held her in place.

She put her hand behind my neck and her face was very close to mine for a few seconds but I quickly made her stand on her own feet and moved away.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yes. I'll get going. Mera kaam ho gaya," she said.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing, bye," she said and went towards the girls' berth while I went to my berth to sleep.

Author's POV ~

Siya was too stunned to move. Sid's back was facing her and she couldn't see his face but she recognised him by the clothes that he wore earlier.

'Are they kissing each other?' she thought.

'But didn't he say that she's just a family friend to him,' she was having a battle of thoughts.

A few seconds later, they parted away. Sid went to his berth while Maya walked towards Siya with a smirk on her face. Her dishevelled hair and smudged lipstick were telling a whole different story.

"Oh Siya, I'm so sorry you had to see that. Sid and I need to be more careful about the surroundings from now on. I don't know if you need to hear this but Sid is such a good kisser and-" she was cut off when Siya said, "You are lying."

"Why would I lie, Siya?" Maya asked.

"He doesn't seem interested-" this time, Maya cut her off.

"He is a man after all. And no man can resist a pretty girl. Well, you wouldn't know because you didn't even let your ex touch you," she said.

Siya's hold on the phone in her hand tightened. Tears pooled in her eyes but she didn't let them fall.

"Anyways, I'll get going. Goodnight," Maya said with a tight lipped smile and left.

Siya stood there with various thoughts flooding her mind.

'Is Sid really like every other man? My heart says no but from what I saw, the situation was crystal clear. Does that mean all the affection that he showed was all fake or was it just me who assumed things? Was my decision of trusting Sid.....wrong?'
