i tell myself it can't be
that it's not you it's me
that it was just that week
the reason that I dream
but the way you stare
makes me wish I was there
wherever your mind is
in that universe you've built
in this moment
I wish I was there.
I would hold your hand
run my fingers through your hair
and I wouldn't have to break your heart.
that moment,
I felt it.
when you should've
kissed me in the dark.
I felt every part of your heart
and it felt
just like mine.
