I wanted to inform you all that I have officially entered DRUNK WORDS, SOBER THOUGHTS into the 2015 Wattys!! I'm really excited about this because I've been waiting so long for this moment to come. I told myself last year that I would enter once the 2015 division was open and now that it is, I didn't hesitate to enter. That being said, I will yet again, be going back into each chapter to revise. I promise it won't be anything crazy-- no plot changes or anything of that nature. I just want to polish it up grammatical and spelling wise.
Please continue to share this story with friends. Tell them to vote and to comment because it's that kind of reader interactivity that's really going to help me. Also, I wouldn't have decided to enter the Wattys if it weren't for all of you. I'm serious. All of your positive feedback is inspiring and without that kind of reassurance, I wouldn't have thought my story was actually good enough to enter.
Whatever the outcome, whether I win an award or not, I'm just proud to actually have a substantial story to be part of the race, and to have amazing readers who appreciate the crazy mind responsible for this crazy book. Thank you again!
